About the Role
We’re looking for a Front End Developer (React) who thrives in collaborative environments and has a passion for crafting clean, efficient code. You’ll join a small, focused team enhancing existing features, architecting new solutions, and contributing to a platform that impacts thousands of users.
You’re a self-starter who loves software craftsmanship and takes pride in clean architecture. You’re comfortable working independently, but also value cross-functional collaboration and clear communication.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and enhance our web applications using React, EmberJS, and Ruby on Rails
- Contribute to full-stack feature development and collaborate in cross-functional teams
- Design, build, test, and ship new features frequently
- Participate in daily stand-ups and regular product planning meetings
- Write clean, maintainable code with strong attention to detail
- Work with third-party APIs (Google Maps, Twilio, etc.)
- Support and mentor teammates as needed
Skills & Experience We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of development experience, with a strong focus on front-end technologies
- 3+ years of experience building production-ready React applications
- Previous experience with JavaScript frameworks like React, EmberJS, Angular, or Vue
- Experience with Ruby on Rails is a strong asset
- Strong understanding of JSON data structures and RESTful APIs
- Familiarity with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, RSpec, QUnit, pytest)
- Comfortable using Git/GitHub and working in a terminal
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS is a plus
- Proven experience mentoring or supporting other developers is a bonus
