We’re looking for a Director of Strategic Partnerships to lead the development and execution of strategies that strengthen our relationships, accelerate growth, and expand our reach across the K-12 education sector. Reporting to the VP of Sales, you’ll identify and cultivate new partnership opportunities, negotiate agreements, and manage ongoing relationships with state and national education associations, service agencies, and research organizations. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker and skilled relationship builder with a strong background creating strategic partnerships.
What You’ll Do
- Design and execute a partnership strategy that fuels ThoughtExchange’s growth across large district and mid-market segments.
- Identify, assess, and build relationships with key education partners, such as state service agencies, national associations, and research organizations.
- Develop and scale partnership programs, including co-branded research, survey and engagement templates, and collaborative campaigns that address critical education issues.
- Act as the primary relationship manager for national and regional partners, ensuring alignment on goals and shared success.
- Collaborate across Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to deliver valuable partner experiences and integrated solutions.
- Support the creation of webinars, roundtables, and conference activations with partners.
- Advocate for product features and integrations that enhance partnerships and meet the needs of education agencies.
- Track partner activities, measure impact, and contribute insights that shape our future strategy.
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of experience designing and managing strategic partnerships, ideally within the software industry, the K-12 education sector, or a related field.
- Demonstrated success in identifying, securing, and cultivating high-impact partnerships that drive strategic growth and expansion.
- Strong executive presence and communication skills, with a proven ability to influence senior-level stakeholders both internally and externally.
- A strategic thinker who can balance big-picture vision with operational execution.
- Comfort working cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Product to align on shared goals.
- Experience using data to monitor performance and inform strategy.

- Familiarity with state and national education associations, service agencies, or education-focused research organizations (e.g., AASA, WASA, NSPRA, NCEE
