About the Role:
Are you passionate about building meaningful connections and helping organizations grow? As a Business Development Representative at ThoughtExchange, you'll play a pivotal role in driving our sales pipeline by engaging with prospects, qualifying leads, and fostering impactful relationships. You’ll collaborate closely with an Account Executive, represent us at events, and leverage a cutting-edge tech stack to achieve success.

Please note: Due to the upcoming holidays, interviews will not start until January 2025.
What You’ll Do:
- Conduct personalize outbound lead generation, including researching and connecting new clients through various channels (i.e. email, phone communications, video messaging and social outreach with prospects)
- Build and nurture impactful relationships with prospective customers, passing them over to the Account Executives once qualified
- Follow up, qualify, and convert inbound marketing leads to qualified sales opportunities
- Maintain, track and report sales activities and results in the CRM and conduct regular data hygiene to ensure CRM is accurate & up-to-date
- Partner with Marketing on field marketing initiatives to share prospect & territory insights that will help grow inbound opportunities, develop event & campaign strategies and increase company profile and brand awareness
- Represent ThoughtExchange at in-person public events, executing pre- & post-event activities
- Leverage digital tools such as Outreach, Salesforce, Vidyard and social media for prospecting and customer management
- Support our Anti-Racism and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (ADEI) mandate by (at a minimum) being aware of our ADEI commitment and initiatives and completing all required ADEI training
What We’re Looking for:
- 1+ year of customer-facing experience, preferably with demonstrated success in selling or building pipeline
- Proven track record of drive and ambition in previous roles
- Coachable and motivated by financial rewards and personal growth
- Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal
- Team player who loves working collaboratively with team members, sharing knowledge and best practices to improve internal processes and enhance team capabilities & performance
- Demonstrated experience taking initiative and being independent in your work while knowing when to seek guidance and support
- Able to manage multiple tasks and prioritize to meet goals
- Able to travel to the USA 4-5 times a year for conferences/ customer events
Nice to Have:
- Previous business development experience at a B2B SaaS organization
- Experience working with Outreach or a similar prospecting tool
- Experience generating leads through attendance at in-person events
