Role Summary
As a Technical (Salesforce) Architect, you’ll work closely with cross-functional teams and will have a strong emphasis on both solutions design and hands-on implementation. You possess extensive knowledge of Salesforce architecture, design, and best practices, coupled with a proven track record of successful project delivery. This role requires seamless transitioning between strategic planning and tactical execution, ensuring the Salesforce platform aligns with business goals and drives organizational success.
What you'll do
- Be a Tech evangelist to our customers, partners and cross functional teams for adoption of ThinkLP solutions.
- Drive focus on non-functional requirements such as reusability, scalability, maintainability, performance, availability, and reliability.
- Develop and implement robust Salesforce solutions tailored to business needs.
- Create scalable and maintainable architecture for Salesforce applications.
- Define and enforce best practices for Salesforce development and integration.
- Lead the design and development of custom solutions on the Salesforce platform.
- Write, review, and optimize Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Component code.
- Manage and configure Salesforce environments, including sandbox and production.
- Design and implement data integration strategies with other systems.
- Oversee data migration, ensuring data integrity and quality.
- Develop and maintain API integrations using REST/SOAP.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Manage project timelines, deliverables, and resources effectively.
- Ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to Salesforce developers and administrators.
- Foster a collaborative environment, working closely with cross-functional teams.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
- Stay current with Salesforce updates, releases, and new features.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement enhancements to optimize the platform.
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities.
What you should have
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience with Well Architected framework
- Salesforce Application Architect or System Architect certifications preferred.
- Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with Salesforce architecture and development.
- Well-versed in Declarative Solutions (ie: Flows, Process Builder, Assignment Rules).
- Exposure to Integration products (Heroku Connect, Data Sync, SF2SF, Data Connectors, etc.)
- Solid understanding of Salesforce security model and architecture (Encryption, SSO, OAuth, Permission Sets, Profiles, Sharing Rules, MFA, security scans, etc.)
- Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.)
- Proven experience in designing and implementing complex Salesforce solutions.
- Strong background in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Salesforce integrations.
- Deep understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities and limitations (E.g. Governor limits).
- Proficiency in data modelling, custom objects, workflows, and validation rules.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in working with startups is a plus.
- Experience with consulting or working for an ISV/OEM partner is a plus.
- Legally authorized to work in Canada or in the United States.
Compensation
Base Salary Range: For U.S.-based candidates, the base salary range is $180,000 - $220,000 USD; for Canadian candidates, the base salary range is $140,000 - $180,000 CAD. This is part of a competitive total rewards package that includes an annual bonus, employer-paid benefits, and long-term incentive pay. Individual compensation may vary from the target range and is determined by several factors, including experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. We review all employee pay and compensation programs at least annually to ensure competitive and fair pay.
Location: Remote (United States or Canada).
