As a Senior Product Manager at ThinkLP, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering products that change how leading brands tackle the challenges of crime, profit loss, and safety. Reporting to the Senior Director of Product Management, you’ll work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, industry advisors, go-to-market, and customer experience, to achieve outcomes that meet our customers' needs by demonstrably increasing their abilities to reduce profit erosion and protect their people. This role requires a blend of technical acumen, customer empathy, and a deep understanding of the retail landscape to deliver solutions that are innovative, intuitive, and impactful.

What you'll do...

  • Shape and execute a product roadmap, making thoughtful decisions on prioritizing initiatives.
  • Translate market and customer insights into clear product requirements.
  • Work with engineering and design teams to ensure timely delivery of features and enhancements, balancing scope, quality, and dependencies.
  • Conduct thorough market and user research to understand the evolving landscape of retail crime and identify opportunities for innovation.
  • Develop and articulate a clear vision for your products, aligning with our vision to be the edge for protecting people and profit.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for the product and monitor its performance post-launch.
  • Gather feedback to iterate and improve the product continuously.
  • Communicate product plans, milestones, and outcomes to internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Serve as a bridge between technical and non-technical teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment on go-to-market motions, progress, and challenges.
  • Facilitate collaboration across departments to drive product decisions and implementation.

What we look for...

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in product management, preferably in software products related to retail, security, or crime prevention.
  • Experience creating data product strategies, building data products, and continued iteration after launch.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Highly adaptable, comfortable working in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
  • Deep empathy for customers and a passion for crafting solutions that meet their needs and exceed their expectations.
  • Technical proficiency, with the ability to understand and discuss architectural concepts, trade-offs, and new opportunities with technical team members.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Experience developing products with machine learning models is a plus.
  • Experience in working with startups is a plus.

Lastly...

The base salary range for For U.S. based candidates is $120,000 - $160,000 USD; for Canadian candidates, the target salary range is $140,000 - $165,000 CAD. This is part of a competitive total rewards package including an annual bonus and employer-paid benefits. Individual pay may vary based on factors such as experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. We review all employee pay and compensation programs at least annually to ensure competitive and fair pay.
