Our team of 300+ Thinkers supports learning businesses around the globe, while working collaboratively to learn, grow, and succeed together. Join us to see how we’re building one of the best workplaces in North American tech!

We believe every candidate should have a fair, inclusive, and overall great experience when exploring a new role with Thinkific. Our hiring team is here to guide you through each step, so you always know what to expect!

Are you passionate about building AI-powered products that help people learn, grow, and succeed? We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our AI Learner Engagement team at Thinkific.

In this role, you’ll lead the development of Thinkific’s next generation of AI-powered experiences that help businesses engage learners, motivate progress, and drive meaningful educational outcomes. You’ll identify opportunities where AI can remove friction, surface insights, and deliver measurable results for both our customers and their learners. This is a high-impact role at the intersection of product strategy, AI innovation, and customer growth, where you will define vision, drive execution, and deliver measurable business results. Reporting to the Group Product Manager, you will collaborate closely with Engineering, Design, and Data Science to build intelligent and intuitive tools that help our customers succeed.

Your goal will be to use AI-powered engagement experiences to increase adoption, deepen engagement, and improve measurable learner outcomes. Here’s how you’ll accomplish this:

  • Define the AI product vision and roadmap, identifying high-impact opportunities to transform how customers build, market, and scale with Thinkific
  • Turn insights into impact by deeply understanding customer jobs, pain points, and turning those insights into clear product solutions that leverage AI to deliver value
  • Build world-class AI experiences by partnering with Design and Engineering to build intelligent assistants, automated engagement tools, and predictive or actionable insights that help learning businesses grow faster
  • Drive delivery of AI experiences from concept to launch, by partnering with Marketing, Sales and Customer Success to ensure solutions meet customer needs and business objectives
  • Experiment, learn, and iterate by analyzing customer usage and performance data to refine experiences and improve retention and learner success metrics
  • Champion responsible and transparent use of AI, ensuring products build trust and deliver meaningful impact
  • Evangelize AI internally and externally, shaping the way we use AI by communicating strategy, progress, and learnings across teams

The person we have in mind likely:

  • Has 5 or more years of SaaS product management experience, including at least 2 years focused on AI, data, or automation-driven products
  • Has a proven record of shipping high-impact products that improved customer experience, engagement, or growth metrics
  • Has a strong understanding of AI trends and technologies, including generative AI, large language models, and agent-based systems
  • Uses an analytical and data-driven approach to shape strategy, measure success, and make decisions with clarity and speed
  • Brings deep empathy for user needs and translates them into elegant and intuitive solutions
  • Navigates ambiguity effectively and has experience building 0 to 1 products while creating clarity and aligning stakeholders
  • Communicates clearly across teams and levels and can inspire, align, and influence
  • Loves to learn and grow. They’ve found (and keep looking for) ways to level up their skills in this field, whether that’s through formal education, gaining professional experience, or maybe even building their own business

These things would also be nice, but we think you could learn them on the job:

  • Experience working on learner engagement, online learning tools, or education technology
Familiarity with experimentation frameworks and iterative product development
  • Background in data science, machine learning, or analytics
  • Experience with platform products or complex multi-sided ecosystems

We’re committed to fair and transparent pay that reflects both where you are and where you can grow to. This role has a salary range of $117,000 – $146,300 – $175,600 in Canada, designed to capture the full journey from developing skills to excelling in the position. Most new hires start between the minimum and midpoint, which aligns with being fully capable in the role. Salaries above the midpoint are typically reserved for team members who have demonstrated strong, consistent performance, deep expertise, and a significant positive impact within the role.

For high-demand or hard-to-fill positions like this one, we may hire above midpoint for candidates who bring exceptional experience, skills, or impact potential.

We believe in equal opportunity and are committed to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging across every facet of our business.

We’re also committed to providing a comfortable and accessible interview experience for every candidate. If there are any accommodations our team can make throughout our hiring process (big or small), please let us know.
