What's the role?

The Project Manager will support service engineering projects, aftermarket option development projects and vehicle reliability investigations. You will be the point of reference for planning the team's activities.

Your mandate will be to prioritize the department's activities in order to produce the necessary
deliverables.

On a daily basis, you will :

  • Manage projects to meet specific requirements and deadlines;
  • Monitor current project budgets;
  • Plan, monitor and report on current project activities;
  • Ensure up-to-date planning of all team activities;
  • Coordinate testing activities, joint service engineering and engineering activities, communicate project plans and all related activities;
  • Ensure timely follow-up of files and escalate issues to the management team;
  • Respond to questions, concerns and requests received by telephone, e-mail and other services;
  • Participate in the development of the KPIs required to provide a quick overview of the performance of the team's activities;
  • Support the manager in meeting the Service Engineering team's KPIs;
  • Suggest improvements to the processes and tools used by the Service Engineering team;
  • Master the general design and operation of electric vehicles;
  • Any other task related to the role;

What do you need to succeed in this position?

Knowledge

  • Bilingualism essential (French, English);
  • Mastery of tools, MS Office Suite and MS Project.

Training and experience

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field;
  • CAPM or PMP certification, an asset;
  • Experience in automotive manufacturing or engineering (an asset);
  • 5+ years experience in a similar position.

Job Context

  • Interest in working in a fast-paced environment;
  • Must be able to travel occasionally in Quebec, Canada and the United States (less than 5%).
