Seeking a Co-founder Partner & Lead Engineer/Developer to work with us on our startup, The Digital Factories Solutions.  The current main active lab project is Project Café Ride.

After validating the business case with our target markets, we have a clear vision for the future and seek your expertise to help bring it to fruition.

We are a small team that believes our tested idea will generate profit without initial venture capital seeding. We already have several potential customers interested in signing up once the solution is operational. We seek an entrepreneur to join the founding team as the lead engineer/developer.  The CEO and CTOs are two experienced professionals with a track record of success in the technology industry and a passion for cycling.

The idea and platform have been tested at the intersection of cycling and technology, with ML (machine learning) and supervised learning models as core components. 

What You'll Do:

• Work closely with the co-founders and other stakeholders to define the technology design and drive the execution of our product roadmap, starting with MVP1 which we have ~30% completed.
• Along with the CTO, develop and maintain the full stack of our solution, including front-end user interfaces, back-end infrastructure, and third-party software interfaces. Implement scalable, secure, and compliant applications, focusing on user experience and performance.
• Build the product development team as we grow.
• Work with the COO to support fundraising, including pitching to investors, securing venture capital, and managing investor relations.

Requirements

Technical Skills:

• Deep understanding of core technologies like AI/ML, mobile and web development, structured and unstructured databases
• Proven experience with cloud platforms (GCP in particular) for infrastructure management and deployment
• Proven experience as a full-stack developer
• Extensive experience with developing front-end applications using React or Flutter (preferred)
• Experience building and maintaining web portals using basic front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
• Working experience (design and implement) with relational (e.g., Postgres) and NoSQL (e.g., Firebase, MongoDB) databases, as well as familiarity with big data processing
• Proficiency in using Git for version control and familiarity with DevOps methodologies
• Experience in developing highly secure and compliant applications.

Entrepreneurial and leadership Skills:

• An entrepreneurial mindset, willing to work in a startup's fast-paced, continuously changing environment. A detail-oriented team player who can start a product from zero and bring it to market.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams and external partners
• Effective project management and strategic alignment of technology with business goals
• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Independent worker with a passion for innovation and continuous learning
• Business acumen with a good understanding of the company's industry and market landscape.
