What You'll Do
- Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of complex Android features and applications.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices (e.g., SOLID principles, MVVM, and Clean Architecture). Conduct code reviews and ensure code quality across the team.
- Work closely with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to deliver seamless user experiences.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks. Ensure apps are performant, scalable, and maintain high responsiveness across various devices and OS versions.
- Implement robust unit tests, integration tests, and UI tests. Improve CI/CD pipelines and automation for Android releases.
- Provide technical mentorship to junior developers, guiding them in coding standards, best practices, and design principles.
- Participate in technical discussions with leadership and other stakeholders to shape product direction and technical strategy.
- Stay updated on the latest Android frameworks, tools, and trends. Advocate for and implement innovative solutions to improve the development process.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field or relevant experience.
- 5+ years of professional mobile software development experience with AndroidutilizingJava or Kotlin. Familiarity with Jetpack Compose.
- Experience with mobile in-app purchases (IAP) on the Play Store is highly desirable.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to delivering highquality software.
- Can write concise, performant, testable code. Unit testing is a must.
- Experience releasing apps to the Google Play Store.
- Solid understanding of software architecture and design principles.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
