Job Description

Texada is seeking our next Strategic Partner Associate responsible for helping manage partner relationships, help guide the software partner program, and coordinate software integration projects with key strategic partners that drive revenue.

The ideal candidate can demonstrate proven performance in the areas of business development and/or program or partner management. This person must be fine tuned to build and navigate professional relationships across an organizational network, champion critical feedback by partners for the product team to evaluate future roadmaps, manage ongoing integration projects with strategic partners, and find ways to increase adoption of partners across our customer base.

  • Manage the growth of Texada Pay, our key payment product by working closely with our payments partner along with our implementation team to ensure an exceptional sales and onboarding experience.
  • Champion our open API partnership program, and improve the process for scale. This includes sourcing and activating partners, streamlining the partner onboarding process, and collaborating with our revenue generation and implementation teams to ensure customer adoption.
  • Help build out a partner portal to systematize our partner engagement, lead sharing, and future reward programs through a PRM.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams including product, sales, professional services, support and marketing to meet business objectives.
  • Be a trusted, strategic advisor to partners, collect their feedback, and advise the product team on strategy related to APIs and where partners can help fulfill product gaps.
  • Collaborate with strategic partners and Texada teams to build and simplify processes that drive onboarding, sales, marketing, integration and implementation.
  • Track, analyze and communicate key success metrics to develop and execute against goals internally and with our partners. Understand key operational elements of program design to ensure successful program growth and expansion.

Work location and travel

  • Primary: Greater Toronto Area. Hybrid/Remote position. Travel as needed (10% - 20%).
  • This is a 12-month fixed-term, full-time contract.

What we are hoping to find in your background

  • 3-5 years of B2B consulting, customer success, partnership development, account management and/or project management experience
  • Demonstrated experience leading and growing partnerships or customer relationships across diverse organizations
  • Able to work with all levels of individuals within an organization, up to C-suite leaders, with proven experience supporting clients and executives
  • Demonstrate the highest level of integrity with outstanding interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Committed to results with a bias for speed and action with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excited by the challenge of building an extraordinary business that delivers not only high revenue growth and compelling value, but also has a significant impact on the equipment dealer and rental industries
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into insights
  • Flexible approach, able to operate effectively with uncertainty and change
  • SaaS software experience is a plus
  • Experience working with OEMs, heavy equipment dealerships or equipment rental company a plus
  • Experience working with payment processors or negotiating payment contracts a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four year college or university
