In this role, you will help build our in-house capability for qualification, reliability, and failure analysis of our products. The focus will be on package- and system-level. You will collect test collaterals, design and build infrastructure and fixtures, execute the test, analyze data, and present the data to the cross-functional teams. Depending on the complexity of the test, the tests can be performed in-house or in collaboration with external test partners.
This role is hybrid, based out of Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
Responsibilities:
- Execute in-house reliability testing, including test fixture design, setup, test execution, data collection, and analysis
- Interact with external test houses and manufacturing partners for reliability testing
- Drive qualification tests for package and system either internally or at partner test houses
- Perform failure analysis on package and system components for electrical and mechanical failures
- Define and build in house infrastructure for qualification, reliability, and failure analysis
Experience & Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree in Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of experience in relevant field
- Experienced with electronics, BGA packages, and PCB boards
- Familiarity with test standards and qualification targets for electronic systems
- Familiarity with automotive test requirements is an asset
- Ability to design and assemble test fixtures for in-house testing
- Knowledge of silicon level reliability is an asset
- Excellent written and verbal communication
