We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Corporate Accounting Manager to join our fast-growing AI hardware and software startup. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in corporate accounting, with a focus on GAAP accounting principles, SAP implementation, inventory accounting, and a CPA certification.
Responsibilities
- Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes and ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of SAP financial systems and processes
- Ensure compliance with GAAP accounting principles and other applicable accounting standards
- Manage the inventory accounting process, including valuation and reconciliation
- Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations and journal entries
- Develop and implement internal controls to ensure accurate financial reporting and prevent fraud
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Sales, and Engineering to support business objectives
- Manage and develop a team of accounting professionals
Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA certification required
- 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, with 2+ years in a lead or managerial role
- Extensive experience with GAAP accounting principles and SAP implementation
- Strong knowledge of inventory accounting and financial reporting
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex accounting issues
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with cross-functional teams
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Compensation for all engineers at Tenstorrent ranges from $100k - $500k including base and variable compensation targets. Experience, skills, education, background and location all impact the actual offer made.
