The Summer MBA Intern – Finance and Accounting for Hardware/AI Startup will work closely with our finance and accounting team to support our startup's growth and success. This role is perfect for a driven individual with a strong interest in finance and accounting, as well as experience/coursework specifically in these areas. The ideal candidate will also have a keen interest in startups in the hardware and AI space, and a desire to learn and grow with us.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with our finance and accounting team to manage financial operations for the startup, including financial planning and analysis, forecasting, and budgeting
- Support the team with financial modeling and analysis, including profitability analysis, cash flow forecasting, and valuation analysis
- Help to manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable, financial reporting, and compliance
- Assist with fundraising efforts, including preparing investor materials, analyzing potential funding sources, and supporting due diligence processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, and marketing, to ensure financial goals align with company strategy and objectives
Experience & Qualifications
- Currently pursuing an MBA with a focus on finance, accounting, or related field
- Strong understanding of financial modeling, analysis, and accounting principles
- Experience or coursework in finance, accounting, or related areas
- Demonstrated interest in startups in the hardware and AI space
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Compensation for all engineers at Tenstorrent ranges from $100k - $500k including base and variable compensation targets. Experience, skills, education, background and location all impact the actual offer made.
