Associates in this role, function as information technology SME’s Subject Matter Experts and participate in or oversee a variety of analytical and technical assignments. Designing, documentation, implementation, administration, support, and maintenance of a variety of hardware, software, SaaS products. The role is broadly split between project-based work leading to the Evaluation, Design, Development and Deployment of new infrastructure services for most part and serving as a Third Level escalation point for existing infrastructure services and users of those services.
Design, implementation, support, monitoring and maintenance of infrastructure software platforms, including but not limited to server / client operating systems, messaging, and database services, reporting platforms, terminal services, VPN, Web Proxies, and all other software-based systems which provide infrastructure, underpinning the IT Service Catalogue. Develop operational, installation, configuration and upgrade documentation for hardware, security, storage, software, and other computer related systems. Serve as a liaison between other technical staff, security teams, management, users, and vendors regarding usage, standards, security, and other technical matters. Provides diagnoses and resolution of computer hardware and software problems.
Responsibility Overview:
Create standards, operational runbooks, participate and lead projects, design and engineer overall infrastructure and technology.
Gather Business requirements and translate them into cutting edge technical solutions
Proactively foresee the latest Market trends, forecast needs, suggest updates/upgrades to technology
Infrastructure related Product evaluations, Product POC, Vendor engagement and product selection
Provide level III support, prioritizing and executing assigned tasks
Work directly with vendor contacts to resolve technical problems affecting the delivery of ES services and/or up-time related to software/application solutions, Servers, SAN technology, storage, and peripheral equipment
Coordinate all infrastructure-based activities including design/installation of new hardware and backup/recovery, ensuring high availability & business continuity
Monitor, Identify & troubleshoot server configuration and/or performance monitoring. Develop procedures to respond to these irregularities in a timely manner
Develop and test scripts to automate routine tasks
Create, maintain, and improve documents/procedures and trains peers and team members on the procedures.
Effectively participate and provide Third level production support on a rotating basis or when called upon

Qualifications:
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or related Enterprise Infrastructure engineering experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills * including interpersonal / customer service skills

5-7 years of experience in the design, implementation and managing of complex infrastructure solutions:
O365 Suite, Teams, Sharepoint, Intune, AAD & Azure

Working Knowledge of Cloud technologies, Azure or AWS
Windows Server Environment 2008-2022(Active Directory, DHCP/DNS, Group Policy, Printing Service)
Disaster Recovery planning & best practices
Server/System/Application monitoring

Process and Operational knowledge and understanding of foundational technology including:
Automated software distribution
Security patch management
Backup tools, and server recovery (e.g. Veeam)
Scripting/Automation (e.g. Visual Basic, PowerShell, or Shell Script)
SaaS Applications/Technologies
Product/platform evaluation, and recommendation
Ability to engineer solutions for given SaaS and IaaS technologies (Scripts/API calls, etc.)
Nice to have:
Basic Understanding of Storage Technologies like SAN, Netapp etc..
SQL Server and Database (MS SQL or MySQL)
Apple/Mac technologies
