About the Role

We are seeking an M&A Corporate Development Associate to join our team and play a key role in identifying and

developing acquisition opportunities. This role centers on building and maintaining relationships with investment

banks, M&A advisory firms, and other intermediaries to ensure we have a robust and high-quality pipeline of

potential acquisitions aligned with our portfolio strategy. You will have an opportunity to drive all stages of the M&A

process, including:

  • Developing and managing relationships with investment banks, M&A advisors, brokers, and other deal sources.

  • Acting as a primary point of contact for intermediaries, maintaining consistent communication and

  • representing our firm’s acquisition strategy with professionalism and clarity.

  • Sourcing, reviewing, and evaluating banker-led opportunities to assess fit within our acquisition criteria.

  • Partnering with internal M&A, legal, and business development teams to qualify and prioritize deals.

  • Confidently presenting our investment thesis and acquisition strategy to intermediaries to strengthen sourcing

  • channels.

  • Maintaining detailed records of communications, relationships, and deal activity in Salesforce (CRM).

  • Other adhoc projects.

What We’re Looking For

  • 2 - 4 years of relevant experience in investment banking, M&A advisory, private equity, corporate development,

  • financial services, or other related fields.

  • Understanding of the M&A process, from initial sourcing through transaction execution.

  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills; comfortable engaging with senior advisors and

  • executives.

  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.

  • Proficiency in Salesforce (or similar CRM tools) is considered an asset.

  • Experience maintaining accurate, timely pipeline reporting.

  • Creative, resourceful, and entrepreneurial mindset with a bias toward action.

  • A degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related discipline is valued.
