About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to lead the M&A execution function for one of Jonas’ largest groups. Reporting directly to the Group CEO, the SVP, M&A will be responsible for overseeing the successful evaluation, diligence, structuring, negotiation, and closing of acquisitions across global markets.
You will work closely with the broader M&A team, finance, legal, and operational leaders to ensure transactions are executed efficiently and in alignment with Jonas’ long-term investment strategy. This is a high-impact role, ideal for someone with deep transaction experience, strong commercial judgment, and an ability to manage complexity across multiple geographies and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Lead the end-to-end M&A transaction process from evaluation through closing
Manage and coordinate due diligence across functional areas including legal, financial, tax, HR, and operations
Build, lead, and develop the M&A execution team across the group, including direct people management, performance accountability, and long-term capability building.
Build financial models, develop investment memos, and provide recommendations to the executive team
Lead negotiations on key transaction terms, working closely with legal counsel and internal stakeholders
Partner with the Portfolio CEOs to assess strategic fit, deal rationale, and integration risks
Maintain and continuously improve deal execution frameworks, tools, templates, and processes
Track progress of active transactions and prepare regular reporting for executive leadership
Work cross-functionally with internal departments and external advisors to ensure seamless execution
Support post-close handoff to integration teams and ensure a strong close-to-transition process
Lead special projects and strategic analyses related to acquisitions as needed
Qualifications
7+ years of experience in M&A execution, investment banking, private equity, or corporate development
Proven ability to manage complex deal processes and multiple transactions simultaneously
Strong financial modeling, valuation, and deal structuring expertise
Excellent negotiation, project management, and stakeholder management skills
High level of accountability, attention to detail, and strategic judgment
Experience in software or vertical market technology is strongly preferred
Must be willing to travel internationally as required
