POSITION
The Enterprise Payments Account Executive will lead revenue growth for Common CENTS™ payment processing solutions across hospitals, healthcare cafeterias, senior living communities, and food retail environments. This role focuses on both new customer acquisition and strategic expansion within an existing base of more than 600 accounts, including ~200 retail food service customers and ~450 hospitals.
The ideal candidate is an experienced payments salesperson capable of managing complex enterprise sales cycles, developing trusted relationships, and driving high-value payment processing deals—including opportunities to convert entire hospital systems to integrated solutions.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and execute sales strategies for hospitals, healthcare cafeterias, retail operations, and senior living facilities, driving revenue growth in these specialized markets.
- Identify, prospect, and close new business while expanding payment services within existing accounts.
- Lead enterprise-level sales cycles, including hospital procurement, IT, finance, compliance, and executive stakeholders.
- Capitalize on a large existing account base by selling back-to-base payment opportunities and expanding payment adoption within retail and cafeteria operations.
- Pursue and close hospital-wide payment processing conversions.
- Serve as a trusted advisor, understanding customer challenges and recommending tailored payment solutions.
- Prepare proposals, presentations, ROI analyses, and value-based solution recommendations.
- Manage a robust sales pipeline, forecasting reliably and achieving annual revenue targets of $1M+.
- Represent Common CENTS™ at trade shows, conferences, and industry events.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of B2B sales experience, with a strong background inpayment processing, merchant services, or integrated payments (required).
- Experience selling POS, hospitality systems, or healthcare technology solutions strongly preferred.
- Track record of closing complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise deals.
- Experience selling into hospitals, large healthcare systems, or senior living organizations is highly desirable.
- Strong consultative selling, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage long sales cycles (6–18 months) while driving consistent pipeline activity.
- Willingness to travel as needed for client engagements and events.
- Familiarity with PCI compliance, interchange, or payment security standards is a plus
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
- Competitive base salary with uncapped commission structure. Industry-competitive on-target earnings (OTE) in the range of $200,000–$300,000+, with substantial upside for top performers.
