Job Description:

Director of Product Management

Jonas Club - Jonas Software

Hybrid - Markham, ON

Overview
We are looking for a seasoned Director of Product Management to bring clarity, consistency, and excellence to a growing product organization. Our suite of software powers the operations of premier Private Member Clubs including dining and events to finance, reservations, websites, and mobile experiences. Each product serves a different audience and workflow, yet they must work together as a seamless, modern ecosystem that elevates member service and operational efficiency.

Reporting directly to the Chief Experience Officer (CXO), you will help shape and drive our product vision across departments and disciplines. You will lead a talented team of Product Managers and Product Owners - each bringing deep industry expertise and product knowledge - and guide them in transforming customer insight and opportunity into thoughtful, well-executed software. Together with this team, you will contribute to the overall direction of our product ecosystem and ensure our platforms continue to evolve in ways that reflect the standards of the world’s finest private clubs.

This is a rare opportunity to help build not just a product, but a true product organization. You will play a central role in shaping how we operate, how we deliver, and how our products evolve to support the exceptional service standards that define the private club industry.

If you are energized by building structure from complexity, coaching strong product thinkers, and setting a clear bar for product excellence, we’d love to talk.

Responsibilities

Product Leadership and Vision

  • Collaborate closely with the CXO to define a clear, multi-year product vision and translate it into unified product roadmaps across all product lines.

  • Ensure the voice of the customer remains central to product decisions — especially in support of high-touch hospitality environments.

  • Champion an ecosystem approach, promoting integrated, end-to-end experiences rather than siloed product thinking.

Team Development and Management

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire Product Managers and Product Owners — setting expectations, raising the bar, and supporting their growth.

  • Create consistency in how the team captures insights, defines requirements, prioritizes backlogs, and measures success.

  • Foster a culture of curiosity, accountability, and customer advocacy across the team.

Process, Tools, and Standards

  • Introduce and standardize product best practices, including product discovery, backlog management, roadmap communication, release planning, and outcome-based measurement.

  • Identify and implement the right tools for product planning, documentation, and visibility (e.g., VOC systems, roadmapping and delivery tools).

  • Promote evidence-based decision-making, ensuring product investments align with measurable outcomes.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Engineering, Design, QA, and key business stakeholders to drive alignment and predictable execution.

  • Improve communication rhythms across Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to keep product intent, release messaging, and customer expectations tightly aligned.

  • Serve as a visible product leader in the organization, bringing clarity and reinforcing shared stewardship of the customer experience.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of product management experience, with demonstrated success leading or growing product teams.

  • Proven track record of building, launching, and iterating successful software products; hospitality or club-industry experience is a plus.

  • Experience implementing product frameworks, processes, and tools across multiple product lines or portfolios.

  • Skilled communicator who can simplify complexity, inspire confidence, and influence at all levels.

  • Strong ability to bring structure, prioritization, and clarity to ambiguous or evolving problem spaces.

  • Customer-centric mindset that balances innovation, usability, and business outcomes.

  • Comfortable working in close partnership with engineering and design within modern software development environments.
