Brief Summary of the Job

The Business Development Representative (BDR) is responsible for driving top-of-funnel activity through outbound prospecting efforts including cold calls, email campaigns, and social outreach. This role focuses on generating qualified leads, securing meetings, and supporting the growth of the sales pipeline. Reporting to the Manager of Sales and Marketing, the BDR partners closely with the sales team to create new opportunities, booking discovery calls using the BANT qualification framework. Over time, the BDR will progress into conducting discovery calls independently and booking demos directly with prospects.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct outbound cold calling, emailing, and social outreach to generate qualified prospects from provided and targeted lead lists.

  • Book discovery calls for Account Executives using the BANT qualification framework.

  • Develop into conducting discovery calls independently and booking demos for the sales team.

  • Maintain accurate records of prospect interactions, activities, and outcomes in HubSpot CRM.

  • Achieve or exceed activity and booking targets as defined by leadership.

Qualifications

  • 2–3 years of experience in business / lead development or sales.

  • Comfortable making high volumes of outbound calls and emails daily.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Familiarity with standard BDR / Sales platforms and tools.

  • Resilient, goal-oriented, and motivated by achieving measurable results.
