Position Overview
We are seeking a strategic leader to serve as the overall financial steward to the FinTech segment of the CORA portfolio, which currently includes portfolio companies operating on a global basis in the Loyalty and Collection & Recovery industries. This role goes beyond traditional financial planning and analysis: you will drive portfolio-wide strategy execution, support acquisition decisions, and shape long-term value creation across the segments of focus.

This is an opportunity for an analytical leader with an FP&A or operational background and a strategic mindset to take broader ownership of the FinTech portfolio’s financial narrative, portfolio planning & execution management, and the M&A integration playbook. This role reports to Denis Brosnan, the CEO of the FinTech segment of the CORA portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
Portfolio Strategy & Planning
Guide portfolio-wide strategic planning, goal setting, and performance tracking.
Consolidate business unit insights into a clear dashboard view for executive leadership.
Provide financial and operational analysis to inform growth strategies, margin expansion, and capital deployment decisions.
M&A Integration
Lead integration of newly acquired businesses, ensuring smooth transitions for employees, customers, and systems.
Translate investment theses into measurable results across the portfolio.
Build and refine the integration playbook for repeatable, scalable success.
Execution & Operational Excellence
Establish best-in-class execution management processes across business units.
Support development of scalable pricing models, incentive frameworks, and performance management systems.
Coach portfolio company leadership teams to strengthen financial acumen, operational discipline, and execution rigor.
Qualifications
University degree in a business, finance, economics or accounting-related field with an excellent academic record
8–10 years of experience in finance, consulting, corporate strategy, or technology with exposure to M&A and operational leadership.
Professional designation (CPA, CFA, MBA, or equivalent) is an asset but not required.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; proven ability to build financial models and translate data into actionable insights.
Skilled at influencing senior executives, asking probing questions, and challenging the status quo with sound recommendations.
Comfortable managing multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with the technology/software industry is an asset.
Willingness to travel globally
