Job Description:
VP, Product
About The Role
Constellation Payment Processing is a modern Payment Facilitator (PayFac) empowering SaaS businesses to grow revenue through seamless, embedded payments. As part of Constellation Software Inc. (TSE:CSU) — a global Canadian-based software leader at a $96B market cap and the 7th largest software company in the world — we combine the agility of a specialized payments company with the strength and stability of an established global powerhouse.
The Vice President of Product is a strategic and execution-driven leader responsible for defining, delivering, and commercializing product strategy across all portfolios. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role owns the product vision and ensures alignment of R&D, operations, and go-to-market. The VP of Product balances strategic foresight, strong financial analysis, and operational discipline with a deep understanding of how emerging technologies — particularly AI and embedded fintech — transform the payments landscape.
You will lead a lean, high-performing team, including the Director of Product, and drive end-to-end accountability for product delivery, adoption, and revenue growth. We service 30 separate Constellation owned Vertical Market Software (VMS) businesses today with our sights set on supporting payments for the Constellation echo system.
What You’ll Do

- Anticipate market shifts and translate them into actionable product strategies, with emphasis on AI-driven capabilities and monetization opportunities.
- Ensure product strategy is tightly aligned with corporate objectives, including portfolio integration, ISV enablement, and risk management.
AI Integration & Innovation
- Drive adoption of AI/ML solutions within the product suite (e.g., pricing optimization, merchant risk scoring, underwriting, automated support).
- Leverage AI internally to enhance product planning, financial modeling, and delivery efficiency.
- Establish the organization as a leader in AI-enabled payments solutions.
Financial Planning & Analysis
- Partner with Finance and Treasury to evaluate initiatives using IRR, ROI, and payback modeling.
- Prioritize product investments based on financial return, risk, and strategic alignment.
- Track financial performance of launches, ensuring initiatives deliver against margin expansion, volume targets, and retention goals.
Execution & Delivery
- Define OKRs that span R&D, operations, and sales to ensure end-to-end accountability.
- Oversee product delivery processes (roadmap, backlog prioritization, release planning, commercialization) in partnership with Engineering, Sales, and Operations.
- Ensure launches include operational readiness, training, and GTM execution to drive adoption and revenue.
Leadership & Influence
- Lead and mentor the Director of Product and a lean product team.
- Act as the unifying voice of product across departments, balancing strategic priorities with commercial realities.
- Serve as an executive thought partner to the CEO and leadership team, contributing to company-wide strategy.
What You’ll Own
- The multi-quarter product roadmap and portfolio-level prioritization.
- Delivery accountability from R&D → Ops → Commercial adoption.
- Financial modeling and product investment planning.

- Strategic relationships with processors, banks, and fintech partners tied to product delivery.

- Demonstrated success in end-to-end product delivery, from roadmap through commercialization.
- Executive presence with ability to influence and align cross-functional leaders.
