Solution Architect

POSITION

The Solution Architect at Lean creates, builds, enhances, designs, tests and supports our growing AdjustmentHub and NetworkHub product sets and future evolutions. All developers at Lean are generally expected to be full-stack developers. There are two tech stacks in use and the developer would potentially be involved with both. The primary applications use the following stack: such as: Java/JEE development, GUI development using PrimeFaces, Javascript and CSS, SQL Server and Oracle databases. You will also participate in new development projects using applications such as: Kotlin, React UI Framework, Spring application server and Kubernetes/Docker/AWS/Azure deployments.There may be some involvement with DevOps tools including Git (BitBucket), Bamboo and/or SonarQube.

Job Responsibilities:

• Create, build, enhance, test, design and support ongoing AdjustmentHub and/or NetworkHub planned initiatives, enhancements.
• Expected to take leadership roles in customer projects, providing guidance to less experienced developers and customers on the ways to use and work with our products to get the most from their implementations.

Job Qualifications:

• 6-9+ years of relevant experience.
• A minimum 2-year college or university degree in technical subjects, such as computer science, or software engineering. Candidates without college degrees will be considered, if they have proven, demonstrated experience.
• Well organized with the ability to work independently of direct manager oversight.
• Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in technologies including Java, JEE, JSF, Javascript, SQL, Oracle, Kotlin.
• Experience, knowledge base in AWS and/or Azure deployments.
• Ability to absorb and apply knowledge of a comprehensive enterprise software solution quickly and become efficient and confident in using this knowledge, not only for development, but for working with customers to design new features, new systems, etc with customers to best fit solutions into their needs and guide them on best practices etc.
• Java and/or Kotlin experience in workplace.
• Knowledge of services-based architectures and ideally REST web service implementations.
• Relational database knowledge including database design and efficient queries.
• Familiar with DevOps tools including Git (BitBucket), Bamboo and/or SonarQube.
• Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to travel globally (including possession of a valid passport); manage travel itineraries and travel expenses until reimbursed.
• Payments or banking industry knowledge is preferred.
• A minimum of three references must be supplied.
• Background check and drug screening required.
