Job Description:

As a member of the technology Leadership Team, this role will be responsible the coordination of the organization’s software development and cloud operations.

JCS is not purely looking for a technologist, but rather, a proven leader that leverages the right technology to enable the business to create elegant solutions that quickly deliver features to the field. The successful candidate will be a humble and will evolve and develop software based on a true understanding of the customer’s desires. Customer relationships must be prioritized.

Technology Stack:
 JCS has a legacy system built with ProvideX for Windows. This solution will be supported indefinitely with no plan to migrate customers off this platform. Experience with ProvideX is not required, but building a future for this platform is a key strategy;
 Currently testing in Azure and a large colocation footprint working out of hosting centers;
 JCS is looking for candidates with six-plus years’ experience in the following:
o SQL Server deployment for large-scale production use;
o SQL Server development with experience in SQL language including stored procedures;
o Experience troubleshooting SQL performance and resource management;
o Operating environments with Microsoft operating systems and virtual machines running in HyperV;
o Proficiency in C#, familiarity with vb.net;
o Proficiency with web applications and services.
 JCS is currently innovating around their technology stack:
o Primarily MS, SQL, C#, and some Visual Basic;
o MS Blazor (working very well for their website);
o SaaS offerings will exist primarily in colocation over Cloud Services (yields significant cost reduction).
