Description

Taiga is searching for a highly motivated and organized Business Development Representative to to drive sales into commercial operations across North America and select international markets. Reporting to the Manager of Commercial and Inside Sales, this role will own the full sales cycle — from prospecting and qualification through negotiation and close — while managing strategic accounts and supporting dealer relationships. Support with B2C accounts will also be required at times.

This individual will play a critical role in expanding Taiga’s footprint at ski resorts, rental and tour operators, and other utility fleets.

What you’ll be doing

  • Identify, develop, and close multi-unit commercial fleet opportunities.
  • Build relationships with ski resort operators, rental fleets, tourism operators, and destination properties.
  • Navigate longer sales cycles aligned with seasonal and annual budget planning.
  • Educate operational staff (maintenance teams, fleet managers, tour operators) on product integration and usage.
  • Present business cases and ROI models to account leadership and ownership teams.
  • Manage RFP processes and structured procurement discussions.
  • Lead consultative sales conversations focused on sustainability, operational efficiency, and guest experience.
  • Structure proposals, negotiate pricing and fleet agreements, and close contracts.
  • Collaborate with dealers when accounts fall within dealer territories while maintaining strategic account ownership.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline management, forecasting, and CRM discipline.
  • Represent Taiga at industry events, resort demonstrations, and customer engagements.
  • Travel as required to support key accounts and product demonstrations.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Previous experience in sales, with some focused in B2B, enterprise, or complex solution-based sales.
  • Demonstrated experience managing strategic accounts.
  • Proven ability to own and close full-cycle deals.
  • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-starter with strong organizational discipline.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and other sales technologies, NetSuite CRM experience a plus.
  • Passion for what Taiga is doing- be it outdoor recreation, innovation, or sustainability- we want people driven to accomplish the Taiga mission.
  • Proficiency in English and French is preferred given our international client base.
  • Experience with powersports vehicles is a huge plus!
