Ce poste en rotation sera sous la responsabilité du superviseur d'entrepôt, mais sera également supervisé par le chef d'équipe de production pendant les heures de 16h00 à 19h30. L'associé d'entrepôt a pour principale responsabilité de veiller au bon déroulement de la production en fournissant les bonnes pièces au bon moment et en bonnes quantités. Il/Elle sera chargé(e) de faire le tour des installations en fournissant des pièces aux différents postes de travail. Il/Elle assurera la préparation de kits pour le supermarché de composants. Il/Elle joue un rôle crucial pour l'organisation en comprenant correctement les processus globaux de la production et de l'entreposage. Il/Elle sera également amené(e) de temps en temps à aider à la réception des livraisons entrantes, à l'expédition sortante et aux mouvements internes de l'entrepôt.

Responsabilités générales

• Fournir des pièces et des composants en effectuant des tournées séquentielles entre l'entrepôt et la production.
• Aider au besoin à maintenir les processus standard en cours.
• Assembler des kits comprenant toutes les pièces nécessaires pour des postes de travail spécifiques vers des zones spécifiques.
• Préparer les commandes de prélèvement pour leur prochaine série d'approvisionnement.
• Assembler avec un haut degré de précision les kits pour la production.
• Participer à l'amélioration continue de l'optimisation de l'entrepôt, de la gestion visuelle et du flux.
• Signaler tout problème susceptible d'impacter la sécurité ou le flux continu.
• Au besoin, recevoir des produits de fournisseurs.

Exigences

• Expérience dans une installation de fabrication avec des volumes moyens à élevés.
• Une expérience préalable sur un chariot élévateur est requise.
• Une connaissance de base d'un ERP ou d'un WMS est un plus.
• Capacité à s'adapter facilement dans une industrie en croissance avec un état d'esprit agile.
• Capacité à exceller et à rester calme sous pression, à travailler avec différentes disciplines et cultures.
• Orientation vers la résolution de problèmes.
• Bilingue français/anglais.

This split shift role will report to the warehouse supervisor, but will also have oversight from the Production team lead during the hours of 16h00 to 19h30. The Warehouse Associate has a principal responsibility to ensure the smooth operations of productions by supplying the right parts at the right time in the right quantities. He/She will be responsible to make the rounds in the facility by supplying parts to the different workstations. He/She will ensure the preparation of kits into the supermarket of components. He/She has a crucial role for the organization by properly understand the overall processes of the production and warehousing. He/She will also be asked from time to time to assist with inbound receiving, outbound shipping, and internal warehouse movements.

General responsibilities

• Supply parts and components by making sequenced rounds between warehouse and production
• Assist when necessary to maintain standard works and processes flowing
• Assemble kits that have all the necessary parts involved for specific workstations to specific area
• Prepare picking orders for their next run of supply
• Assemble with a high degree of accuracy the kits for production
• Be involved in the continuous improvement of the warehouse optimization, visual and flow management
• Escalate any issues that might impact safety or continuous flow
• As required, receive product from suppliers

• Experiences in manufacturing facility with middle to high volumes
• Prior experience on a forklift is required
• Basic knowledge of an ERP or WMS is a plus
• Able to adapt easily in a growing industry with an agile mindset
• Possess the ability to excel and remain calm under pressure, to work with a range of disciplines and cultures
• Problem solving oriented
• Bilingual French/English
