The Role: Head of Partnerships

Tactable is seeking a strategic, driven, and highly collaborative Head of Partnerships to expand and deepen our relationships with key technology partners—primarily cloud providers like Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and ecosystem players like Databricks.

Reporting to the VP of Business Development & Partnerships, you will own and lead our partner ecosystem strategy, drive joint go-to-market initiatives, and help position Tactable as a preferred partner in the cloud and data transformation space. This role is a critical part of our growth strategy, enabling us to unlock new revenue streams, gain market access, and accelerate client delivery.

What You’ll Do

Partner Strategy & Relationship Management

  • Own and evolve Tactable’s cloud and technology partner strategy, including but not limited to Microsoft Azure, GCP, and Databricks.
  • Act as the primary relationship lead for partner account teams, field sales, and alliance managers.
  • Build executive-level relationships and advocate for Tactable within partner organizations to gain visibility, funding, and referrals.
  • Track and manage partner performance, scorecards, and joint business plans.

Go-to-Market & Revenue Enablement

  • Drive co-selling initiatives with cloud providers and technology partners to generate pipeline and revenue.
  • Organize and execute marketing initiatives such as social events, webinars, roundtables, etc. in collaboration with partner organizations
  • Secure and manage partner funding programs (e.g., MDF, co-sell accelerators, ISV incentives).
  • Develop joint value propositions, pitch decks, and campaign materials tailored to partner channels.
  • Train internal teams on partner value and go-to-market opportunities.

Operations & Ecosystem Execution

  • Own partner onboarding, certification programs, and compliance with partnership requirements.
  • Maintain accurate partner records in CRM and partner portals; ensure Tactable is listed, visible, and promoted effectively.
  • Identify and evaluate new strategic partnership opportunities that align with Tactable’s service offerings and market positioning.
  • Coordinate partner involvement in events, webinars, and content collaboration.

What You Bring

Must-Have Experience

  • 7+ years of experience in partnerships, alliances, or business development, ideally in a cloud-native or consulting services company.
  • 3+ years managing or owning cloud partnerships (e.g., Microsoft, Google, AWS).
  • Demonstrated success in building co-sell motions and managing partner revenue programs.
  • Strong understanding of cloud ecosystems (Azure, GCP, Databricks) and the enterprise software landscape.
  • Exceptional relationship management, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with sales, delivery, and executive teams.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce), partner portals, and productivity tools (e.g., Notion, Slack, project management systems).

Bonus Points For

  • Experience working within a high-growth, fast-paced tech services or SaaS environment.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft and Google partner programs, certifications, and co-sell mechanics.
  • Experience with data engineering, AI/ML, or cloud infrastructure services is a strong asset.
  • Ability to manage multiple partner stakeholders and navigate ambiguity with strategic thinking.

Why You’ll Love This Role

  • Growth-First Culture Whether you're growing as a people leader, technologist, or both, we invest in your goals, not just your outputs.
  • Real Ownership, Real Impact From strategic decisions to team building, you’ll help shape the foundation of our work and the people who make it happen.
  • Tight-Knit Team We’ve built a culture around curiosity, collaboration, and care. We show up for each other, whether it’s a product launch or team lunch.
  • Work That Matters We’re not just exploring ideas, we’re building solutions that support real people and drive real impact at scale.
  • Hybrid Flexibility We’re a hybrid-first team with a strong appreciation for in-office collaboration, especially at our downtown Toronto HQ. We encourage in-person presence to foster mentorship, connection, and collaboration.

Why This Might Not Be a Fit

  • If you’re looking for a rigid org structure or top-down management style
  • If you prefer long-term routine over variety and fast-paced challenges
  • If you’re not comfortable stepping outside your job description to support the team when needed

Compensation, Benefits & Perks

  • Salary Range: Competitive and flexible, based on experience and fit for the role.
  • Comprehensive health and dental plan
  • Generous PTO and holidays
  • Laptop & home office equipment provided
  • Career coaching and personalized development plans
