Founded in 2016 by entrepreneurs, investors, and energy professionals, SWTCH had a vision of enabling communities to realize the social, economic, and environmental benefits of widespread EV adoption. Since then, its EV charging and energy management solutions have been installed in hundreds of multifamily buildings, 50 percent of which are classified as low-to-moderate income. Job Opportunity

 

As the Director of Real Estate Partnerships at SWTCH Energy Inc., you will play a pivotal role in driving our real estate strategy in the Western USA. In this position, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive real estate partnerships strategy that supports our growth objectives and enhances our market presence. Your expertise will guide our expansion efforts, ensuring the successful identification, negotiation, and management of strategic real estate partnerships.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partnership Strategy: Develop and implement a robust real estate partnerships strategy aligned with SWTCH Energy's business goals and growth trajectory.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to identify optimal accounts, clients and opportunities for EV Charging projects.
  • Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong relationships with real estate developers, landowners, brokers, and other key stakeholders to establish a robust pipeline of partnership opportunities.
  • Negotiations: Lead negotiations for ensuring favorable terms and conditions for SWTCH Energy.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate closely with legal, finance, engineering, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution of EV Charging projects.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with real estate partnerships, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices.
  • Reporting: Generate comprehensive reports and presentations for senior leadership, outlining progress, challenges, and opportunities within the real estate partnerships portfolio.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business, or a related field
  • 5+ years of proven experience in real estate partnerships, or related roles within the renewable energy industry.
  • Strong network and existing relationships within the real estate and renewable energy sectors.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills with a track record of successfully closing complex real estate deals.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze market trends, assess opportunities, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Detail-oriented and well-organized, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in real estate analysis tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and CRM software.
  • Knowledge of local and national regulations pertaining to real estate and renewable energy development.
