About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager to join our Technology department. In this role, you will be responsible for leading complex technical projects, primarily working with our Field Systems, Software Systems, and Customer Operations teams, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and driving execution from inception to completion. The ideal candidate is a proactive and detail-oriented leader with a strong technical background, capable of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage multiple technical projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
Collaborate closely with technical specialists, system analysts, field systems specialists, and other stakeholders to define project goals, timelines, and deliverables.
Drive project planning, execution, risk management, and reporting, ensuring clear communication of progress and challenges.
Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
Facilitate workflows using a Kanban-style approach to keep teams aligned and productive.
Work closely with senior leadership to align technical initiatives with strategic business objectives.
Continuously improve project management processes and tools to optimize efficiency and team performance.
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and transparency within the Technology department.
Qualifications & Experience
5+ years of experience in technical project management, preferably in a software or technology-driven company.
Strong understanding of software development processes, system architectures, and technical infrastructure.
Experience working in Agile or Kanban methodologies and facilitating team workflows.
Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering complex projects in a remote, fast-paced environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to evolving project requirements.
Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms.
Experience in aviation, weather technology, or related industries is a strong plus but not required.
Preference for candidates who can work around Eastern Time Zone hours to facilitate collaboration with colleagues in Central European and Mountain Time Zones.
Desirable Experience
Experience creating and managing projects, workflows, and reports in Jira to streamline processes and enhance team productivity.
Ability to customize Jira configurations to align with team needs, including automation, dashboards, and reporting tools.

Familiarity with integrating Jira with other tools and systems to improve project tracking and visibility.
