About Super.com
We started Super.com to help maximize lives–both the lives of our customers and the lives of our team – so that everyone can experience all that life has to offer. For our employees, our promise is that Super.com is more than just a job; it's an opportunity to unlock one's potential, where learning is celebrated and impact is realized.
We are more than a fast-paced, high-growth tech company; we care about our people and take career progression seriously. This is your career and our aim is to supercharge it through the people, the work, and the programs that fuel who we are.
About the role
This role sits within our Accounting team, which owns the integrity of our General Ledger, reporting systems, and the data that feeds them, combining deep GAAP expertise with a genuine curiosity about process improvement and automation.
As our new Accounting Manager, you'll take ownership of a meaningful slice of our month-end close, working directly with our Senior Accounting Manager to prep and, primarily, review journal entries, reconciliations, and close deliverables. This is a newly created role built to deepen our accounting bench: you'll add capacity exactly where our team needs it most, so our close moves faster and our reviews get sharper.
You'll operate with a high degree of independence, ramp quickly on our systems and processes. If you want ownership over precise, dependable review work and real influence on how a scaling finance team runs, this role is built for you.
About the team
We're a tight-knit group that leans on each other for technical rigor while pushing to work smarter, not just harder: we're early adopters of AI-powered tools like Claude to speed up reconciliations, memo drafting, and reporting, and we look for that same curiosity in new teammates. As we grow, we're building in more capacity for thorough review and technical depth, and this role is a direct investment in giving the team room to focus on higher-value work instead of firefighting close deadlines.
What you'll be working on
Prep and review month-end close deliverables journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules with an emphasis on review, giving the team more capacity and confidence in what goes out the door.
Partner closely with the Senior Accounting Manager to tighten close timelines, catch issues before they become audit findings, and raise the bar on documentation quality.
Build and maintain reporting and analysis using Looker and Snowflake, turning raw data into reliable, decision-ready financial materials for leadership.
Support external audit and internal control processes, preparing clear, well-supported workpapers that hold up to scrutiny.
Use AI-powered tools, including Claude, to speed up reconciliations, memo drafting, and recurring reporting work and help the team find more opportunities to do the same.
Identify and drive process improvements across the close cycle, replacing manual, repetitive work with more scalable approaches.
-
Manage a direct report, providing hands-on coaching and review oversight to help them grow while keeping quality consistent across the team's output.
What we're looking for
5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with a foundation in accounting, audit, or financial reporting from industry, public accounting, or a combination of both (an advantage).
CPA designation is a plus, though not required.
Demonstrated experience owning review work, not just preparation, with comfort catching errors and pressure-testing others' output before it goes out the door.
Expert-level Excel skills, plus hands-on experience with Looker and Snowflake for reporting and analysis.
Familiarity with AI-powered tools such as Claude to build and improve accounting and reporting workflows, with genuine enthusiasm for using them day to day.
A process-improvement mindset, with a track record of identifying inefficiencies and building better ways of working.
Ability to work with a high degree of independence and ramp quickly in a fast-moving, still-forming role.
