About the Role
We are looking for a Product Manager Intern to join the Travel Product team and take on a pivotal role in shaping the future of our most profitable product. You will collaborate closely with our Product, Design and Engineering teams to develop and execute our Travel Product strategy, driving profitability through the launch of features that ensure we provide the best deals to our customer and providing valuable add-ons and upsells to our customers.
This is a fast-paced, high-impact role where you will work closely with key members of our product team to ideate, project- and product-manage, and execute on initiatives related to our Travel products.

What you’ll be working on

  • Product Management: You will formulate the product requirements and execute our Travel Product roadmap. This includes defining product features and specifications in well-defined product requirement documents, breaking larger features into bite-sized implementation roadmaps, and working closely with engineering teams to build and scale these features
  • Customer Empathy building and User Experience Mapping: You will work collaboratively with designers, UXR and members of the product team, to ensure the ideal user experience is clearly mapped out and validated with data. You will help support efforts to build customer empathy across the product team including participating/organizing customer interviews, observing user sessions and finding opportunities through customer feedback.
  • Data Analysis: Ability to dive into sets of raw data to draw key insights that can be used to drive business decision
  • Communication: Clear written and oral communication to larger and higher stake audiences. Includes: writing clear emails, communicating clearly in person, writing and providing presentations
  • Collaboration: More facilitation and getting things done with others within and across teams and external partners. Includes: actively participating in meetings, leading meetings, running team processes, solving problems with other teams, appropriately avoiding and diffusing conflict
  • Details and Quality: Writing clear specs with use cases, delivering products small and large on time and with few bugs, navigating options to deal with bumps in the road, achieving outcomes, supporting product execution across multiple engineering teams

What We Offer
Home Office Setup Allowance: $300 one-time
Friday UberEats Allowance: $25/week
Learning & Development Allowance: $300/ per term
Fitness/Wellness Allowance: $120/per term
Candidates can be based anywhere in Canada, provided they maintain a minimum 6-hour overlap with the Eastern Time Zone and are available to work a 40-hour work week.
We’re a remote-first company, but you’re always welcome to join us at our head office on 260 Queen Street West in Toronto. We also host virtual and in-person socials where interns can connect, play games, and meet others - including company wide game nights and events. While optional, these are great ways to build connections and make the most of your Super.com experience.
