The Director of Product Marketing will craft and execute product messaging, positioning, and launch readiness while acting as a key product evangelist. With a deep understanding of customers, markets, and business solutions, you’ll drive creative messaging that boosts awareness, supports sales, and excites customers. This role will be a key force in driving demand, increasing sales, fostering product adoption, and ensuring internal alignment for successful product launches and releases.

What You'll Do

Company Readiness for Product Launch

  • Improve internal alignment, excitement, and execution for product launches.
  • Facilitate decision-making and coordination across stakeholders to ensure strong GTM positioning.

Effective Messaging and Positioning

  • Implement a consistent framework for product messaging and positioning.
  • Develop clear, compelling messaging for each product release, tailored to buyer personas, and ensure cross-functional adoption.
  • Be the go-to expert for trusted messaging that resonates with target markets.

Expert on Customer and Market Needs

  • Conduct market research and distill insights on buyer personas, needs, and journeys.
  • Monitor trends and advise internal teams on necessary actions.

Leadership and Enablement

  • Develop strategies and tools to help teams differentiate against competitors.
  • Collaborate with Product to align on vision and roadmap, positioning us as market leaders.
  • Support Marketing with messaging and content for lead generation.
  • Enable Sales, Customer Success, and Delivery teams with tools, templates, and training.
  • Partner with Sales Engineering for value-based demos highlighting competitive differentiators.

Product Evangelism

  • Support Sales and Customer Success with strategic deals and presentations.
  • Represent the company at events, webinars, and industry conferences.

Go-to-Market Planning

  • Develop and execute go-to-market plans, including packaging and pricing.
  • Ensure CRM and marketing materials are organized and impactful.

What We're Looking For

  • 7+ years’ B2B Product Marketing experience in SaaS
  • Previous experience in a senior product marketing role
  • In-depth, hands-on experience with all core product/solution marketing functions: positioning, pricing, packaging, Go-to-Market planning, sales enablement, market research, competitive intelligence, and product launch
  • Prior experience with high-growth SaaS companies
  • Prior experience at growth-stage companies (~$10M – $25M in revenue)
  • Experience and passion in sports and entertainment tech would be an asset
  • Demonstrated success in past leadership roles: leading and mentoring teams as well as growing revenue
  • Strong communication skills and a high level of integrity and judgment
  • Data-driven: ability to gather qualitative, quantitative, and anecdotal evidence to support key value propositions and drive decision-making
  • Ability to get into the weeds if needed (e.g., write product launch emails, create in-product cross-sell ads, build compelling slide decks)
