Marketing Coordinator

Administration, Marketing & Communications, Sales & Business Development

CAD 55k-67k / year
Marketing runs on strategy. It moves on execution.
The Marketing Coordinator is the operational and administrative backbone for our global marketing team, keeping events, programs, and projects moving across events, demand generation, paid and digital, email, and channel marketing operations.
Join a global marketing team where execution drives impact. This is a newly created position.
What You’ll Do
You’ll own the day-to-day mechanics — so marketing team members can focus on strategy and execution.
- The work is broad rather than deep, and the challenges are operational rather than conceptual.
- You’ll work with global, remote-distributed teams.
- AI isn't a feature of the job. It's part of how the job runs.
- Most communication is internal and operational; external communication is largely logistical.
Key Responsibilities
Events Operations - Channel and End-Customer
- Coordinate logistics for channel partner events and end-customer events - trade shows, webinars, owned events, and partner activities.
- Manage venue and hotel bookings, registrations, collateral, demonstration product, and on-site materials.
- Track event budgets, run post-event follow-up, and capture ROI data, invoices, and proof of performance.
Marketing Operations - Project Coordination
- Own the administrative side of MDF: intake, tracking, and reporting against approved partner activities, working alongside the Marketing Lead who owns MDF strategy.
- Keep Asana (project management platform) clean and current for tasks owned by the events, demand generation, paid and digital, email, and channel marketing teams - project setup, due dates, status updates, and weekly hygiene.
- Coordinate timelines and handoffs across the team.
Cross-Functional Coordination and Content Workflow
- Work across internal teams and channel partners to gather inputs, route approvals, and keep deliverables on schedule.
- Support marketing program execution, including email, paid and digital campaign coordination, and content production workflow.
- Use AI tools daily - Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, or similar - for drafting, research, summarization, and workflow acceleration.
Reporting and Data Hygiene
- Pull recurring marketing reports, maintain accurate records across CRM, MDF tracking, and event systems, and flag inconsistencies.
- Build the reporting habits that let senior team members make faster decisions.
What You Bring
The operational quality you bring is what lets our team show up consistently for IT pros, channel partners, and end customers across 27 countries. Success in this role requires strong organizational discipline, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Skills & Knowledge
- Organized under pressure. You can run multiple priorities at once without dropping any of them.
- Clear communicator. You write the way you'd talk to a sharp colleague — direct, useful, no padding.
- Multi-stakeholder fluency. You take direction from multiple senior team members, manage competing requests, and know when to push back on timelines or scope.
- Detail-oriented. Data, dates, dollars, and deliverables. Small errors in MDF tracking, event registrations, or campaign reporting create big downstream problems.
- AI-confident. You prompt well, edit AI outputs critically, and know when to verify before sending.
- B2B marketing aware. Familiar with the basic logic — channel partners, demand generation funnels, event ROI — and willing to build deeper fluency on the job.
Education & Experience
- Post-secondary education in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field. Open to recent graduates.
- Internship, co-op, or up to two years of post-graduation experience in a marketing, sales support, events, or operations role.
- AI-confident - comfortable using Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, or similar tools daily for drafting, research, summarization, and workflow acceleration. This is a day-one expectation, not a nice-to-have.
- Direct B2B experience is a plus, not a requirement.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 - Excel for tracking and basic analysis, Word for business writing, PowerPoint for clean status updates.
- Hands-on familiarity with Asana or a comparable project management tool. If you haven’t used Asana, you’ll need to ramp quickly.
- Understanding of core marketing concepts - events, demand generation, paid and digital, email, and channel marketing. Curiosity to learn the B2B technology landscape and the buying centers we serve (EUC, A/V and Collaboration, Networking and Edge, Data Center).
- Event coordination experience preferred.
- Exposure to MDF programs, CRM systems, or marketing reporting workflows is an asset.
Physical & Sensory Demands
- Standard office or work from home environment
- Extended periods of concentration required
- Travel up to 10% for events and partner activities
Hiring Process
- Intro call with Talent Acquisition (30-minutes)
- Interview with Hiring Manager (45-minutes)
- Final interview with CMO + leaders across the Marketing Team (45-minutes)
