Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for optimizing logistics on a global scale? Join our team as the Manager, Global Logistics and lead our logistics operations to new heights! You'll oversee transportation costs, enhance service levels, and ensure compliance with global trade regulations. Your role will also involve managing Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) operations and leading strategic partnerships with third-party logistics providers (3PLs). With a focus on continuous improvement, you'll play a critical role in optimizing our supply chain and supporting our growth.
What you will be responsible for:
- Develop and Execute Logistics Strategy: Lead the overall logistics strategy across multiple sites and transportation modes. Align logistics operations with corporate objectives to ensure seamless coordination and optimize the balance between cost efficiency and service quality.
- Team Leadership: Manage a global team of four direct reports across North America and Europe. Foster a high-performance culture through mentorship and training, ensuring alignment with the broader logistics strategy.
- Global Trade Compliance: Ensure compliance with global trade regulations, manage HTS code classifications, oversee the duty drawback program, and manage FTZ operations. Continuously monitor and optimize compliance processes to minimize risk and reduce costs.
- Performance Metrics: Develop and manage key performance metrics to evaluate logistics performance. Create comprehensive dashboards for real-time insights into operational efficiency, transportation costs, and service levels.
- 3PL Management: Manage key relationships with 3PL providers to optimize service delivery and cost management. Collaborate with internal stakeholders across departments to align logistics strategies with business needs.
Essential Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business, or a related field.
- Experience: 5-7 years of experience in logistics, global trade compliance, or supply chain management. Proven expertise in managing 3PL relationships, transportation strategies, and trade compliance processes. Experience in leading teams and optimizing logistics operations across multiple regions is preferred.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of logistics operations, global trade compliance, and supply chain management. Proficiency in logistics software, data analysis tools, and dashboard creation. Effective communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills are essential.
- Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of international shipping, customs regulations, and 3PL management. Strategic thinking, project management, and the ability to balance cost and service efficiency across all transportation modes.
