We are looking for an experienced Payroll Manager to manage the EMEA and APAC regions as part of our payroll team. As a crucial team member, you will spearhead the administration, design, and implementation of global payroll processes and systems for StackAdapt's rapidly growing multinational workforce. This leadership role is critical in maintaining the highest level of accuracy and confidentiality while delivering payroll, timely filing, and ensuring strict compliance with all corporate and government-legislated policies. Reporting to the Senior Global Payroll Manager, this role will closely collaborate across the organization to ensure a successful payroll function.

What you will be doing:

  • Ensure accurate and timely payroll delivery for local and international employees while providing global support
  • Ensure accurate preparation and processing of employee compensation and benefits, including tracking and retrieval of attendance records, time-off requests, and annual leave accruals
  • Contribute/provide process improvement and recommend areas of automation
  • Maintain accurate employee data in HRIS and payroll systems
  • Audit employee payroll documentation and participate in internal/external audits
  • Work with the payroll vendors to execute quarterly and year-end fillings, including preparation and review of tax forms, balancing, and reconciliations
  • Collaborate with local payroll vendors and partners to ensure compliance with regulations
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for payroll and administration queries
  • Act as a subject matter expert for our global payroll systems, lead payroll expansion projects, and implement best practice to identify new payroll processes and policies
  • Provide critical advice and guidance to managers and the wider People team on payment processing, allowances, and benefits in accordance with relevant legislation
  • Support organizational needs with analytics, reporting, accounting, and auditing of all aspects of payroll

What you'll bring to the table:

  • Proven expertise in a full-cycle payroll operation
  • Strong organisation and time management skills; ability to multitask and manage competing priorities, as well as thrive in a global environment
  • Ability to work individually as well as part of a team, leading through building trust and empowering teams to deliver successfully
  • Team player with excellent communication skills, self-motivation and a “can do” attitude
  • Advanced Microsoft Office and G-suite skills
  • CIPP or similar professional certification is required
  • Experience in using ADP Workforce Now, ADP Celergo, and BambooHR is an asset
