Join our growing Revenue team at StackAdapt, a company headquartered in Toronto, Canada, with a strong presence in the US, EU, and APAC markets. We're actively seeking a Sales Director based in the United Kingdom to collaborate with our Director of Sales and VP Sales, EMEA.
Position Overview: We're in search of a dynamic Sales Director who combines sales expertise with team leadership. You will report into the UK-based Director of Sales, and you will play a pivotal role in expanding and nurturing a team of talented StackAdapters.
As an Sales Director, you will directly manage a team of Account Executives, working in close collaboration with the Director of Sales and VP Sales to strengthen StackAdapt's presence and revenue growth in the UK. You will also operate as a player-coach, actively contributing to the sales process while guiding and motivating your team in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
What you will be doing
- Sales Leadership: Identify, pitch, and close platform sales deals with agencies and brands, ensuring the team consistently meets and exceeds quotas.
- Product and Team Enhancement: Proactively identify areas for improvement in our local product and team, and collaborate with stakeholders to drive the local offering forward.
- Team Development: Recruit, train, and mentor a team of Account Executives in the UK market, assisting them in preparing pitch materials and RFPs.
- Collaboration: Work closely with management and product teams to define and develop products tailored to the UK market's needs.
- Client Relations: Collaborate with your team to manage existing client relationships and seek opportunities for account growth.
- Product Evolution: Identify gaps in our product offering and engage the necessary stakeholders to enhance our product in the market.
What you will bring to the table
- Sales Expertise: Possess a minimum of 5-10 years of digital advertising sales experience, demonstrating a successful track record in driving revenue and closing deals.
- Leadership Experience: Have a minimum of 1-2 years of team management experience, ideally in a sales management role.
- Pipeline Management: Proven ability to grow sales pipelines using CRM tools for efficiency and transparency, with a strong follow-up process.
- Client Success: Demonstrated experience in managing successful client deployments, ensuring ongoing client satisfaction, and identifying renewal and upsell opportunities.
- Programmatic Proficiency: Thorough understanding of the programmatic landscape in the UK.
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills.
- StackAdapt Familiarity: Prior experience with StackAdapt is a significant advantage.
