- Serve as a financial advisor to the CFO and executive team for strategic planning purposes
- Drive and manage the financial initiatives, budgeting processes, and KPI tracking including developing action plans to ensure annual financial objectives are met
- Prepares timely and accurate analyses, summaries, and reports of financial data on the operating progress of the company including the preparation and communication of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports
- Review and analyze periodic financial results and provide recommendations
- Gather financial data for analysis and forecasting with respect to profits, trends, costs, and compliance
- Build, maintain, and utilize forward-looking revenue and expense models and activity-based analyses to provide financial insight into the organization’s plans and operating budgets
- Understand our market, anticipate future trends, and use this knowledge to support our competitive advantage and Executive team’s strategic direction
- Interact with and align departments with the Company plans, initiatives, and recommendations
- Convert strategic agenda into goals and key performance indicators, and can foresee future opportunities, develop plans, and communicate the go forward vision clearly
- Support exploration of new investment opportunities and provide recommendations on potential returns and risks
- Maintain outstanding relationships and strategic alliances with major customers, vendors and business partners
- Ensure the proper functioning of all Financial Planning and Analysis and reporting systems, improve automation, establish databases, and evolve financial software environment
- Support identification, development and execution of business initiatives, product launches, and/or new service offerings
- Bring about the right kind of results by providing clear expectations, staying the course, seizing opportunities, and tackling problems head-on to avoid distraction
- As directed by the CFO, take the lead on various Corporate/Strategic finance initiatives and special projects
- Perform ad hoc financial analysis around historical trends and forecasts dealing with customers, products, competitors and financial results of divisions, segments or the company as a whole
- Assist in the preparation of ad hoc executive reports for Board, investor and leadership team meetings
- Additional duties as assigned and special projects (financial/operational) as requested including transaction regarding mergers, acquisitions, or reorganizations
We'll be reaching out to candidates that have:
- 10+ years of relevant professional experience
- 5+ years in a global technology company, supporting Finance lead in a public environment
- Experience working in digital media and AdTech strongly preferred
- Full command of GAAP accounting, financial statements, budgeting and forecasting, and internal controls
- Previously experience leading diverse, high-performing teams that successfully deliver and scale and organization
- Ability to synthesize initial Executive leadership vision autonomously with minimal long-term supervision and guidance
- Strong analytical and communication skills supported by advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Keen sense of urgency and attention to detail, takes ownership of work, resilient, self-starter, and a has a can-do attitude
- University degree with a major or concentration in finance, accounting, or economics
- CPA (or equivalent), CFA or MBA ideal but not required
