Spotwork is a marketplace connecting workers to jobs, and we are currently seeking a reliable Forklift Operator to join an innovative warehouse team in Toronto, ON. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting daily operations by managing inventory, operating machinery, and handling both shipping and receiving. Responsibilities

• Operate manual and electrically powered machinery, including forklifts, to safely load and unload delivery trucks.
• Pick, pack, and prepare sign supply orders for customer shipments utilizing appropriate shipping software.
• Receive incoming shipments, meticulously inspecting materials for discrepancies or damage before stocking inventory.
• Perform precise data entry and order tracking in the ERP system to support team members and customers.
• Execute regular cycle counts and assist with warehouse maintenance tasks to keep the facility clean and organized.

Requirements

• Prior hands-on experience in warehouse operations, shipping, receiving, or general labor.
• Physical capability to frequently lift, push, pull, and carry materials weighing 70 or more pounds.
• Comfortability with prolonged standing, walking, bending, reaching, and climbing ladders throughout your scheduled hours.
• Demonstrated ability to safely operate warehouse equipment with a full range of physical motion.
• Working knowledge of ERP systems for accurate data tracking and inventory management.
• Advanced or fluent proficiency in French or an additional language is a strong asset.
