Job Title: Junior Account Executive (SaaS - HR Tech)

We are looking for a results-driven Junior Account Executive to join our growing sales team. This is a strategic, full-cycle role designed for a professional who excels at both identifying new market opportunities and nurturing long-term partnerships.

You will be responsible for a 50/50 split between Net-New Pipeline Generation and Existing Account Growth, ensuring our customers realize maximum value while our market footprint continues to scale.

Job Description & Key Responsibilities

You will report directly to the Head of Sales and be responsible and accountable for generating new business opportunities while supporting the growth of existing client relationships. You will manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and qualification through to closing and account expansion. You are proactive, customer-focused, and motivated by achieving results while contributing to the success of the broader sales team. You will help strengthen our sales processes, maintain accurate pipeline management, and deliver an exceptional experience for every prospective and existing client.

Key Responsibilities

  • Balance high-volume inbound lead management with existing account growth
  • Accurately manage opportunities in Salesforce and HubSpot, delivering consistent and reliable forecasts.
  • Identify and qualify new outbound opportunities through a mix of targeted outreach, social selling, and industry networking
  • Lead the sales process from initial discovery and product demonstrations through to final negotiation and closing
  • Serve as a strategic partner to an assigned portfolio of existing clients, ensuring platform adoption and high satisfaction levels.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to introduce new features, modules, or additional seats to current users
  • Develop trusted advisor relationships with decision-makers and influencers.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, SDRs, Product, and Customer Success to align on strategies and ensure smooth client handoffs.
  • Share market insights, objections, and customer needs with leadership to influence product direction.
  • Meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets.

Desired Skill Set and Experience

  • 2+ years of SaaS sales experience
  • Experience meeting or exceeding performance targets in an SDR, BDR, or Junior AE capacity.
  • Familiarity with Sandler, MEDDPIC, or similar consultative methodologies is a nice to have.
  • CRM & Sales Stack: Salesforce, Gong, PandaDoc
  • Proficiency in pipeline management, forecasting, and developing business cases.
  • Persuasive communicator with strong storytelling and influencing skills.
  • Resilient, persistent, and thrives in 'nice-to-have' objection environments.
  • Relationship builder who establishes credibility and trust quickly.
  • Highly organized, disciplined, and comfortable balancing inbound + outbound.
  • Curious, adaptable, and eager to learn in a fast-scaling SaaS environment.
