Location: Taipei, Taiwan. Remote work with domestic travel to meet with customers.

Your Role As a Senior FAE at SPARK, you will play a key part in driving demand and adoption of our cutting-edge wireless technologies across the Taiwan market. You will take the lead in planning and executing proactive technical engagements with customers, helping them understand the value and capabilities of SPARK’s solutions. You will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, delivering compelling product demonstrations, and providing hands-on technical support to accelerate design-ins. By building strong, long-term relationships with customers and acting as their trusted technical advisor, you’ll help position SPARK as a partner of choice in the region.

Your Responsibilities

  • Promote company wireless solutions (reference designs, SDKs).
  • Support customers with design-in activities.
  • Provide technical support to the mass production of projects, including troubleshooting and resolving production-related issues.
  • Offer on-site customer support and product debugging; travel to customer sites as necessary.
  • Plan and deliver technical training and knowledge transfer to enhance customers’ in-house development capabilities.
  • Collaborate closely with internal R&D, product, and sales teams to resolve customer issues and optimize product applications.

Your Background

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering related field.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience as an Application Engineer (AE) or Field Application Engineer (FAE).
  • Solid experience in embedded system development, especially with ARM Cortex-M series platforms.
  • Hands-on experience in developing wireless peripherals such as keyboards, mice, headsets, microphones, or IoT-related products.
  • Familiarity with wireless SoC (Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) 2.4GHz proprietary, Ultra-Wideband (UWB)) and wireless application software development.
  • Proven ability to independently debug software issues and perform root cause analysis.
  • Strong self-management skills, with the ability to independently handle multiple technical projects.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills; able to work effectively with cross-functional teams and customers.
  • Adaptable to a dynamic start-up environment, with strong self-motivation and proactive learning attitude.
  • Proficient in C, C++ and Python software development and programming.
  • Familiar with wireless SoC platforms and wireless application development.
  • Experienced in software architecture design and practical implementation.
  • Experience in developing wireless human interface devices (HID) such as keyboard, mouse, or wireless audio devices (headset, microphone), or IoT applications is highly preferred.
  • English proficiency is needed for technical communication and smooth coordination with HQ in Montreal, Canada.
  • Must be able to travel to customers’ sites.
