The opportunity
As an Office and People Operations Coordinator, you are responsible for providing support in office operations, employee experience, people/talent initiatives, and cross-functional support. You support the leadership team in executing talent practices and fostering a culture that generates high-performance teams.
What you’ll be doing
Office Coordination
- Manage office supplies, equipment and snack/drink inventory, order supplies as needed, and ensure adequate levels are maintained.
- Coordinate office maintenance, repairs, and updates, including liaising with building management, cleaning staff, and service vendors.
- Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and functionality of the office, including the kitchen, common areas, and meeting rooms.
- Assist in planning and coordinating travel arrangements, company events and third-party events being held in our space.
- Support cross-functional teams with ad hoc requests and special projects as needed.
- Track, report, and recommend improvements for policies and processes, ensuring they are in compliance and up to date.
- Reconcile company credit cards and prepare cheque deposits on a timely basis.
People Operations
- Assist in the delivery and management of employee communications helping to align people with the culture and the business strategy.
- Facilitate the performance management process, providing support to both employees and management.
- Develop and execute employee engagement initiatives, events and activities to promote a positive work culture.
- Lead the onboarding and offboarding process for new and departing employees.
- Coordinate and support hiring managers with full-cycle recruitment and selection processes.
- Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource legislative requirements; conducting investigations; maintaining records.
What you’ll need
- Diploma, Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Certification in HR (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is an asset
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Ability to work effectively within a dynamic, team-focused environment that operates at a rapid pace
- Proficiency with the Google Office suite and an aptitude for leveraging technology to gain efficiencies and improve processes
- Working knowledge of employment laws and regulations

Salary Range
We believe in rewarding great work. For this role, the salary ranges between CA$50,000 and CA$60,000 per year.
The final compensation offer will reflect our consideration of candidate-specific factors such as qualifications, experience, skillset and location.
