\nThe Business Development Associate is accountable for:

  • \nGenerating a pipeline of qualified opportunities
  • \n
  • \nManaging a territory of assigned accounts & marketing leads - moving both through the sales funnel
  • \n
  • \nEngaging with and educating Spare’s target market, partners & industry influencers to increase market awareness of Spare’s unique value and to generate demand
  • \n

\nOur Spare HQ is Vancouver, BC, but this position is open to remote work options across Canada. 
The salary informed is the base salary. The remuneration for this job also involves a variable commission.

    • \nIdentify, engage with and qualify business opportunities for Spare through primarily outbound efforts

    • \nConvert researched leads into fully qualified opportunities through in-depth follow-up, discovery & relationship-building

  • \nTerritory and funnel management
      \n
    • \nManage a territory to uncover current and future business opportunities
    • \n
    • \nBuild relationships with multiple contacts per account, maintaining a thorough history with key developments over time

  • \nDemand generation

    • \nRepresent Spare at events (in-person and virtual)
    • \n
    • \nEducate prospective customers on the unique value of Spare's solutions
