Salesforce Technical Lead / Manager

Freestar is seeking an experienced Salesforce Technical Lead / Manager to lead the development and technical team to execute our strategic commercial programs and to utilize the full capabilities of the Salesforce platform. Maximizing efficiency and automation for our sales and service teams is our key strategic focus. Working alongside our Salesforce Product Manager, you will be responsible for finding innovative solutions to solve our ambitious internal goals, creating a platform to ensure we have a best in class customer journey.


  • Daily management of a development team(s) alongside the Product Manager / Owner
  • Lead & develop a team of Salesforce technical experts including Admins & Developers, ensuring best practices are adhered to, and projects are delivered on time and in budget
  • Act as a subject matter expert for the platform, providing mentorship and knowledge transfer to the team, while constantly looking to elevate the skill set of the team
  • Design and build custom and standard components on the Salesforce platform
  • Building (hands-on) some of the more complex areas of the requirements
  • Work with Freestar Solution/Technical Architects
  • Scoping, sizing, and estimating of work once the technical designs are agreed upon
  • Create & review Solution Design Documents and provide feedback as required, with a strong focus on reducing technical complexity

Qualifications & Experience

  • 7+ years in salesforce Development & Administration
  • 2+ years acting as salesforce Tech Lead
  • Strong experience with Salesforce Sales, Service & Marketing Clouds
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce Ecosystem
  • Expertise in providing and implementing technical solutions
  • Excellent technical documentation skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience in working in agile methodologies
  • Recommended Certifications:
    • Salesforce Advanced Administrator
    • Preference for Consultant Certifications (service cloud, data cloud, sales cloud)
    • Preference for Additional Architecture Certifications (e.g. Technical Architect, Data Architecture & Management, Sharing & Visibility etc.)
