Travailler en partenariat avec les équipes internes ainsi qu'avec les partenaires techniques et commerciaux pour définir, établir et mettre en œuvre des systèmes, des processus et des procédures de comptabilité.
Identifier les opportunités et mettre en œuvre des programmes de centralisation, d'élimination, d'automatisation ou d'externalisation des activités. Travailler avec les fournisseurs pour externaliser les processus établis ou matures et gérer les activités en cours.
Soutenir les exigences d'audit externe liées à des domaines de responsabilité spécifiques.
Aider à la préparation des états financiers mensuels et trimestriels.
Ce que nous recherchons:
Une expérience professionnelle de plus de 4 ans dans le domaine de la comptabilité des revenus au sein d'un cabinet comptable Big 4, combinée à une expérience dans une entreprise de premier plan (de préférence dans les secteurs de la technologie, de l'hôtellerie, de l'immobilier et/ou dans une entreprise publique).
Connaissance approfondie des US GAAP et des directives relatives à la reconnaissance des revenus (ASC 605 et ASC 606).
Expérience de la recherche et de la documentation de questions comptables techniques
Connaissance avancée d'Excel. Connaissance de SQL (de base à intermédiaire) un plus
Excellentes aptitudes à la résolution de problèmes et expérience de l'analyse de transactions multidevises à fort volume dans un environnement commercial international.
Expérience des systèmes dans un environnement ERP (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
Solides compétences en matière de relations interpersonnelles et de communication
Excellentes compétences en matière de gestion du temps, capacité à établir des priorités et à effectuer plusieurs tâches à la fois.
Sens aigu des affaires, compétences analytiques, orientation vers les détails.

The Senior Revenue Accountant will support all aspects of the revenue cycle. The Senior Revenue Accountant must be able to assist with the reconfiguration of current processes and controls, as well as ad hoc requests on an as needed basis. As a finance team member you will have broad exposure to various functions at Sonder, including Engineering, BizOps, FinOps, Customer Experience. This is a newly created position due to the growth of the company.
The Opportunity:
Execute monthly global revenue close, ensuring accurate results are delivered on time for reporting in accordance with US GAAP including preparing journal entries and account reconciliations of global revenue, deferred revenue, sales allowance.
Partner with internal teams as well as engineering and business partners to define, establish and implement accounting systems, processes and procedures.
Identify opportunities and implement programs to centralize, eliminate, automate or outsource activities. Work with providers to outsource established or mature processes and manage ongoing activities.
Support external audit requirements related to specific areas of responsibility.
Assist in preparation of monthly and quarterly financial statements.
Who We Look For:
4+ years’ professional experience in revenue accounting with a Big 4 accounting firm combined with industry experience at a top tier company (Tech, hospitality, real estate industry and/or public company preferred)
Strong knowledge of US GAAP and revenue recognition guidance (ASC 605 & ASC 606)
Experience researching and documenting technical accounting matters
Advanced Excel knowledge. SQL knowledge (Basic to Intermediate) a plus
Excellent problem-solving skills and experience analyzing high volume, multi-currency transactions in a global business environment
Previous systems experience working in a large ERP (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) environment
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Excellent time management skills, ability to prioritize and multitask
Strong business acumen, analytical skills, detailed-oriented
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
CPA required
