The Role
As a Loss Prevention & Operations Analyst , you’ll play a hands-on role in solving meaningful problems, driving outcomes, and contributing directly to Solink’s growth. You'll collaborate across teams and be trusted to take ownership - because we believe great ideas come from everywhere.

What You’ll Do
You will conduct reviews, audit, and investigations for our customers remotely, using the Solink platform, looking for potential problems and opportunities within their business.
You will use data and video to understand how Solink can best communicate the health of their business back to them
Identify areas of Loss Prevention, Risk Mitigation, Health & Safety, Operation Efficiencies that may help our customers
Work with an existing team to identify outliers and anomalies based on customer needs
You will gather information on the client from our sales & customer success representatives department to understand their needs
Collect, collate and communicate relevant inputs to all internal stakeholders
Document all findings in an organized fashion
Deliver results back to the end customer as needed
Work with customers and some of North America's most well-known brands to ensure corporate compliance
Role Expectations
This is a P2 level role. At Solink, individuals at this level are established contributors who work independently within their area of expertise while receiving general direction from their manager. They take ownership of their work, build strong partnerships, and consistently deliver high-quality outcomes.
In this role, you'll be expected to:
Independently conduct customer reviews, audits, analysis, and investigations, using video and data to identify meaningful opportunities across loss prevention, risk, compliance, safety, and operational efficiency.
Translate findings into clear, actionable insights that help customers understand their business, realize value from Solink, and make informed decisions.
Take ownership of customer problems from identification through resolution, recognizing challenges early, proposing practical solutions, and proactively communicating risks or dependencies.
Build trusted relationships with customers and collaborate effectively with Customer Success and other internal stakeholders to understand customer needs and deliver relevant, high-quality outcomes.
Manage priorities and timelines reliably while maintaining organized documentation, seeking and applying feedback, and sharing learnings that improve individual and team effectiveness.

Customers increasingly understand and realize the business value of Solink through the insights and recommendations you provide.
Reviews, analysis and investigations are completed consistently, thoroughly, and within expected timelines, with clear documentation and actionable findings.
Customer needs and potential issues are identified proactively, with thoughtful recommendations and clear ownership through resolution.
Your product, industry, and analytical expertise continues to grow, improving the quality of your work and contributing useful learnings and best practices back to the team.
What You Bring
Must-Have:
Deep understanding and experience of Retail Loss Prevention/Asset Protection industry including POS and Inventory data
General understanding of retail & restaurant operations/environments working in a customer service, loss prevention position or similar
Can detect and see patterns in data & numbers
Excellent communication in English (written, read, spoken)
Well-organized, documentation-focused, process-driven
Can work within given timelines
You love the feeling of helping people and receive a sense of accomplishment helping people
You are a detective at heart and like to solve problems
Understanding of SaaS technology and a willingness to become an expert on our product to help drive customer adoption
You have a proven ability to take complete ownership of problems from identification through to resolution
Proactive and sensitive to customer needs
Collaborative and team-focused: works with others to deliver results, meaningfully contributing to the team and prioritizing team needs
Nice-to-Have:
Additional language communication skills are an asset (French, Spanish)
Experience using Python for data analysis (Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, SciKit-Learn) is an asset
Experience using Sheets/Excel including AppScript/Macro is an asset
Security Requirements
Candidates must undergo a criminal records check upon hire;
Be a Canadian Citizen (dual citizens included), or eligible to work in Canada;
