Enterprise AI is moving from pilots to production, and the constraint is no longer the model — it's the data. Agents are only as good as what they can sense, trust, and act on in the moment, and real-time, event-driven data is becoming the foundation every serious AI system runs on.

Solace is the leading platform for the enterprise AI era. Established enterprises worldwide — including RBC Capital Markets, Bosch, Heineken, PSA Singapore, United Airlines, Schwarz Group, and hundreds more — have built their business around Solace to enable intelligent, real-time experiences, modernize their application and integration landscape, and create seamless digital journeys for their customers, partners, and employees.

So, the next time you drive a car, order furniture online, fly in a plane, check your bank balance on your phone, your positive experience could be a direct result of our technology—and your work!

About the Role

Solace is looking for a Junior HR Generalist to join our People & Culture team for a 12-month term. If you’re a new grad with a passion for people, a sharp eye for detail, and a desire to learn in a fast-paced tech environment, we want to hear from you.

What You’ll Do

  • Work closely with the Senior HR Advisor, the Engagement Manager, and the wider HR team
  • Prepare and send offer letters, employment agreements, and new hire documentation with accuracy
  • Manage end-to-end background check processes, liaising with candidates and third-party vendors
  • Maintain BambooHR records and enter new hires into systems, ensuring data accuracy and completeness
  • Prepare and support employment verification letters for staff
  • Support the student program (co-op) recruitment cycle in partnership with hiring managers, including posting roles, creating job descriptions, coordinating with universities, onboarding students, and attending recruitment events
  • Contribute to special HR projects/events, process improvements, and DEI initiatives as needed
  • Support other special projects, HR programs and processes, as required

What You’ll Bring to the Role

  • A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (recent graduate)
  • A willingness to learn, take on new tasks, pivot, and roll up your sleeves to get a variety of work done
  • Curiosity and enthusiasm for building a career in HR within a dynamic tech environment
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities without dropping the ball
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills — you have an eye for drafting and editing documents, and are comfortable speaking with candidates and employees
  • A high degree of discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive and confidential information
  • Comfort working with Microsoft 365 tools (Outlook, Teams, Excel, SharePoint) and an eagerness to learn new HR platforms
  • Comfortable learning and using AI tools in day-to-day work – no prior experience required, but curiosity and a willingness to adopt new technology is essential to thrive in this role
  • A people-first attitude and genuine care for the candidate and employee experience

Role Status: NEW role | 12-Month Contract | Hybrid (2 days in-office, Kanata, Ottawa)

Expected Salary Range: The expected salary range for this role is from $60,000 to $65,000. The final offer within this range will reflect the successful candidate’s skills and experience.

At Solace, we are committed to a fair, inclusive, and transparent recruitment process.
To help identify candidates whose qualifications best align with the role, we use artificial intelligence (AI) tools during the initial stage of resume screening. These tools compare submitted resumes to the job description, focusing on education, experience, and skills.

Importantly, all decisions beyond this initial screening—including interviews and final hiring—are made by our human recruitment team. AI is never used to make final hiring decisions.

We also believe that diversity and inclusion drive innovation and growth, both in business and in life. We strive to create an enriching and safe workplace where you can be who you are. If you want to do the best work of your career and feel supported every step of the way, we encourage you to join us!
