Overview

This position is for a Collections and Contract Renewals Specialist. You will be responsible for the daily operations within both the collections and contract renewals within the Solace finance group. This is a dual role.

What You Will Do:

  • Regular Customer contact for all outstanding invoices.
  • Review delinquent accounts and create collection strategies to resolve billing / collection disputes.
  • Maintain accurate records of Customer interactions.
  • Communicate regular status updates to Management on overdue accounts.
  • Perform account reconciliations to ensure payments are properly applied.
  • Generate or build reports related to collection activities.
  • Perform accounts receivable month end close activities.
  • Create annual subscription billing renewal opportunities/quotes in salesforce.com for the Solace Sales team.
  • Assist in resolving tickets from the Solace Sales team related to renewal quotes.
  • Track and update Customer inventory records (annual subscriptions).
  • Assist with the implementation of the Maxio Platform. The SaaS tool used for invoicing, revenue management and tracking key metrics.
  • Ad hoc duties as required.

Required Skills:

  • 3+ years of work experience in a similar role.
  • Strong business/accounting knowledge.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel experience.
  • High attention to accuracy and detail in working processes and reports.
  • Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • History of thriving in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Friendly and able to work with staff across all departments.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Experience working with Sales.

Desired Skills:

  • Comfortable using software packages (Great Plains, salesforce.com, Maxio)
