Skylock is seeking a skilled Backend Software Developer to join our team of technical developers. In this role, you will be responsible for detecting and responding to malicious smart contract transactions and ensuring the security of decentralized finance protocols. Leveraging your expertise in reverse engineering, analysis of mempool data, and machine learning, you will play a crucial role in identifying and mitigating potential threats to DeFi protocols.

Responsibilities

• Research, develop, and implement software solutions to detect and reverse-engineer malicious smart contract transactions.
• Utilize machine learning models, handcrafted features, and mempool data analysis to identify and analyze potential threats.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop strategies and frameworks for safeguarding protocol funds.
• Monitor blockchain data for suspicious activity and trends, taking proactive measures to defend against emerging threats.
• Work closely with the development team to synthesize new call data and build transactions for white-hat hacking protocols.
• Share findings and collaborate with team members to enhance threat detection and response capabilities.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of smart contracts, blockchain technology, and the Ethereum ecosystem.
• Experience in reverse-engineering and analyzing malicious transactions in the mempool.
• Proficiency in utilizing machine learning models and handcrafted features for threat detection.
• Familiarity with the manipulation and analysis of mempool data and EVM transactions.
• Solid programming skills and expertise in languages such as Solidity, Python, or JavaScript.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
