Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with focus on Accounting (or similar)
Experience: 3+ years of professional experience

About the Job
The role is for a “full-stack accountant” team member to lead and manage financial and accounting processes at Skygauge. It is a wide-ranging role in which the ideal candidate will work at multiple levels of the accounting process to meet the organizational goals. Also to consider, Skygauge builds and sells physical goods and hardware which require inventory tracking and organization. The role consists of the following major functions:
· Bookkeeping
· Cost Accounting
· Financial Control
· Treasury Management
· Financial Planning & Analysis
· Inventory Management
· ERP Development and Management
Candidates should have experience in some or all of the above fields, and aim to grow within the Skygauge team to fulfill the other functions within our small team. As our team grows, our ideal candidate will also grow and climb within the organization as the most senior Finance team member. In the above functions, you will be creating and improving systems, managing systems and the people that use them, as well as reporting to management extensively.

Skills & Experience:
· Required: Experience with the above major job functions
· Required: Very strong skill with Microsoft Excel and Quickbooks
· Required: Very strong with financial reporting and statements
· Asset: Experience with corporate tax reporting
· Asset: Experience with SRED and other government R&D grants
· Asset: CPA or CMA designation
· Asset: Experience working in a small team or start-up
· Asset: Experience working within an ERP system or setting one up
· Asset: Experience within a hardware or manufacturing context (physical inventory) is an asset
Other Requirements:
· Given the hardware component of our business, the ideal candidate work in-person at our office. Eventually, this role may be hybrid but will still require regular physical presence at our Hamilton, ON office
· Valid driver’s license and access to car preferred
