Job Description

This role involves working with our engineering team, customer service team, and production teams to identify improvements to our product design, manufacturing process, resources, and quality control to plan the execution of projects based on these new learnings. This role also includes communication with customers directly and indirectly to collect feedback, understand trends, and pain points to find points of improvement to implement within our processes.

Ultimately, the role works towards product ownership of our flagship product line. Execution of improvements includes detailed design work, major revisions to subassemblies, and leading initiatives on complete product refreshes. This may also include sourcing and supply chain work with 3rd party vendors.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with multiple teams within the organization to identify areas for improvement
  • Create plans and KPIs to measure improvements
  • Execute on plans for continuous improvement (design, proposals, sourcing, etc.)
  • Maintaining an organized archive and tracking of product issues and revisions

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a related field
  • Ability to conduct meetings, surveys, and other communications
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes, including CNC, 3D printing, and laser cutting
  • Mechanical design and prototyping
  • Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Embedded Systems Engineering, or a related field
