We’re Sienci Labs. We’ve made it our business to bring previously industrial-only manufacturing technologies to the masses. Our company’s focus is on CNC routers. Just as 3D printing acts as an additive manufacturing technology to build up unique parts and products, CNC routers act as a subtractive manufacturing technology to remove material from a blank to create a finished part or product. We sell to over 70 countries, under our flagship AltMil and LongMill brands.
Position summary :We’re seeking a creative, technically skilled Marketing Specialist to contribute to the planning, creation, and execution of integrated communications content across digital and print platforms to build the Sienci brand.
The ideal candidate must be flexible and nimble to work creatively on a diverse scope of assigned projects, to support the objectives of the marketing, engineering, customer support, manufacturing and software departments.

What you’ll do:The specialist plays an important role in shaping the storytelling of the Sienci brand, working closely with our Marketing Manager and Digital Brand Specialist. As a member of the broader Marketing team, the specialist will produce compelling, on-brand content that increases engagement; demonstrates engineering ingenuity; drives revenue and elevates our digital presence. This role is highly dependent on immersion within Sienci’s online community.
Tasks and duties include but not limited to:
- Participate in creative ideation sessions and contribute to cross-functional and cross-departmental objectives.
- Manage and execute daily social media tactics, including responding to any and all technical inquiries and engaging our community across multiple platforms.
- Manage and execute email communication strategy
- Assist with video planning, execution and asset management
- Ensure cohesive storytelling across integrated campaigns (digital, print, events, media.)
- Work closely with Marketing Manager to expand affiliate marketing efforts and develop new business opportunities
- Uphold brand consistency across all social touchpoints, all departments, working closely with the Digital Brand Specialist
- Help create visually impactful assets for social media, email campaigns, website, software, hardware and digital advertising and customer journey touch points.
- Support events and tradeshow marketing, including planning, pre- and post-show campaigns, collateral development, and everything in between
- eCommerce strategy and tactical execution of product listings and front end website content.
Position requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, graphic design, multimedia production, journalism or marketing.
- 3-7 years experience in professional environment preferred; tech or manufacturing sectors preferred
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to adhere to brand guidelines.
- Expert-level writing skills, adaptable for online and offline content
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere Pro), CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress); email marketing tools and social media management tools.
- Demonstrated proficiency and application of social media skills
- Proven ability to work in a collaborative team environment and apply a positive team approach to working with internal and external stakeholders.
- Highly motivated and a self-starter with a proactive mindset and strong organizational skill and time-management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines.
- Proactive approach to problem-solving.
Good to Have:
- E-commerce background, managing sizeable revenue and conversion rates
- Experience with CNC and/or woodworking, professionally or as a hobby.
- Knowledge of woodworking techniques (e.g., joinery, inlays, sanding).
- Experience or interest in rapid prototyping tools (e.g., 3D printers, laser cutters).
- Experience in Graphic Design (Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, etc.)
- Experience with photography and videography (shooting, editing, and post-production).
- Public speaking and willingness to become secondary onscreen education or product knowledge talent
